Sue, My appologies, I had a typo using astrodienst.com to draw the chart. Yes, it was 26 Jan 2006. It still puts the ASC at 28lib00 giving the same significator of Venus at 17cap03. Same for the 2nd house, Mars at 20tau03, leaving the trine since Mars is faster, I believe. It does put the Moon back ... late ascendant question Hi All, I cast a horary chart tonight. The ascendant is 28Lib49 which is a stricture, re-reading my notes I found: "... Having more than 27 degrees of a sign on the Ascendant position indicates that the matter has already come to conclusion, thus the question is no longer relevant. The one exce... which house? selling clothing on internet Hi All, The horary question is whether someone should start a website selling clothes (made by a company he knew previously). I need some help clarifying which house rules this matter, and would appreciate all comments. Is it the 10th being a business? I hesitate here because this is a side business... It turns out the business venture involves "burns", or the assessment of victims of burns, and here we are talking about Saturn being burned by the Sun. Also, if I treat this as a 10th-house question, then Mars is the significator, and gives a NO answer. Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Significator combust? Mark, So do you ignore Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto altogether in a horary chart? their positions and their movements. I know you said to treat them as fixed stars. I understand fixed stars play fairly minor roles most of the time. I find these outer planets to be significant when in the 1st house. Th... Very interesting and educational for me, I am going back to re-read some old lessons. So Pluto cannot collect light? I have a chart with that exact situation, no perfection between the Moon and Mercury except a possible collection of light by Pluto. On VOC Moon, I have another chart with the Moon at... Thanks Mark for the detailed discussion. I thought about the 11th house and was looking through the notes after I posted the question. It's interesting to read your thoughts about the 9th house and the 3rd house. I have always used the guideline that the 3rd house is for trips up to 1-2 weeks, like ... volunteer work - 6th house? I had an idea about volunteering to work with humanitarian surgery medical teams traveling to Asia, about 2 weeks a year. I am not a nurse or a doctor, the work will be administration and interpreting. I just wonder in a horary context, would it be a 6th house question, being work related, even thou... Thanks again for the thoughts and comments. Just to clarify, it's a business partnership and not a romantic partnership. Actually it's a high-risk high-reward business venture looking for a new people, it was introduced to me by a mutual friend. The horary question was "would this venture be go... Thanks Sue for pointing out my error, it must be the case of Saturn in the 7th. I also reread some notes about conjunction before changing sign, thanks for pointing that out also.
