Thanks for the advice, that's pretty much what my initial thoughts about the chart were, before I went off on the illness tangent. Often the best answer to this kind of question is to step away from the astrology software and use your eyes and ears... jupRx Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Romance horary... or is it ? Mark, Sue, Thanks for your comments and good wishes and nice to hear that everyone loves Edinburgh... I've been here nearly 5 years now (which is a long time for me) and it's a great place to live. As for the chart, I guess Mercury hanging around her cusp and in her sign (and in the sign of my detri... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Romance horary... or is it ? Romance horary... or is it ? I haven't posted for a while but I've just cast a chart with an outcome which I thought was quite interesting. The chart details are: 16th Feb 2005 17:16 GMT Edinburgh 3:13W, 55:57N giving an ascendant of 28Leo44. The question was "Am I wasting my time with this girl, or is there some future fo... Thanks again JupRx. I will take your horary advice and go over the chart once more and see what comes up. I guess your idea of lining up the pros and cons sounds like a good one, too. I think I am just too emotional right now to step away from this dilemma and be reasonable. But I do think it's tim... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Having problems with this chart. Hi Debra, OK, the three things you need to look at here are you, your current job and your (possible) future job. You're signified by Mars, ruler of the Ascendant Your current job is signified by Saturn, ruler of the MC Your possible future job is signified by the Moon, ruler of the 4th house. (Howe... I think the seventh house would represent your rivals for the new job rather than the new job itself. I'd be inclined to give your possible new job to the seventh house from the tenth, i.e. the fourth, since it is the career which is in competition with your current one. I seem to remember seeing an... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Having problems with this chart. Replies: 5 Views: 6269 Mon Dec 27, 2004 6:40 pm Jump to post
Hi Mark, it's a good point, especially since there was some history between the querent and the quesited before she met her current boyfriend. Also you can't always rely on the question which is asked being the one which is really on the querent's mind. Thinking about the chart again another possibi... You're welcome. I saw your post on the other thread, hope things work out for you in the end, at least you know more about the situation now and it seems to be consistent with the first horary. jupRx Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Horary romance chart Replies: 6 Views: 7922 Thu Dec 23, 2004 5:30 pm Jump to post
Hi Pocket Dragon, If you check out your ephemeris you'll find that Venus overtakes Mercury and perfects its sextile to Jupiter before Mercury does. So if Venus represents your friend's current boyfriend, on a cursory glance it looks like he gets (or rather keeps) the girl. Venus' conjunction with Me... It's probably a bit early to ask a new question - you'd almost certainly get a very similar answer so soon after the original one. Anyway, the first Moon aspect (to Jupiter) was just over a degree away or a little over a month's time from the question, which would be the beginning of November. Even ... Well, as I said before I'm just learning horary too, so I guess it's possible we're both wrong ! But unlikely. And hopefully someone more knowledgeable will jump in if we are. The chart certainly seems to show strong mutual feelings between you. All you need is a nice aspect between one of his signi... Hi Pocket Dragon, I don't think what you were told was right. If I remember correctly in your horary the ascendant was Cancer and the descendant was Capricorn - so your main significator was the Moon and his was Saturn. Saturn was in Cancer in the first house. So Saturn is in your sign. Although he ... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: "Does he like me?" some guidance in interpretation Replies: 17 Views: 18192 Sat Oct 23, 2004 1:32 pm Jump to post
