Good morning Ficina, I didn't actually loose any money as I hadn't placed a bet at the bookmakers  . When I said 'my money was on' Iron Man, I was speaking metaphorically meaning the horse I had chosen to win (just as well eh!).

Just stumbled across this thread. Looking at the runners the night before (Fri) and after conducting an (far less than thorough) expoloration of the scheduled start time of the race, my money was on 'Iron Man' based on Mer. being the chart ruler and placed in the 8th (widely) conjunct the Aries Sun ...

Granny, I have Uranus transiting my 6th too. So far I have experienced (healthwise) a frozen shoulder, menopausal migraines and I've been having Reiki, Massage, Acupuncture and some kind of Japanese Chi Massage and am seriously considering giving up my day job to become an astrologer/ herbalist. I suppose all this leads us into the ongoing debate regarding Fate and Freewill :-? . If death is already written, no matter how competent the physician or potent the medicine, the final word rests with 'Moira'

Thank you for your kind response Eddy. It would appear that it is not unusual for a healer/physician to be unable to heal themself as can be seen from the mythological Chiron the Centaur. The biblical "Physician, heal thyself" Luke 4:23 also makes reference to this: http://www.phrases.org....

Nicholas Culpeper

As a student of Astrology I have become increasingly interested in herbal medicine using astrological correspondences as taught by Nicholas Culpeper, however, the sceptic in me asks why he was unable to heal his children or himself (dying of consumption at such a young age) :? Is it a case of loosin...
