Hi, even if the horary indicated the student plagiarised, you would surely have to find hard evidence, you couldn't just go by that. There are software systems and other tools which should enable you to find this out. And wouldn't any of your colleagues be prepared to help? I realise this is non ast... Hi Andrew, please would you mind giving an example of the way you'd analyse it in, say, a relationship question? If the signifcators were say Venus in Pisces and Mars in Libra, then I'd think Venus felt comfortable with Mars (in Mars's triplicity) and Mars liked Venus an awful lot (ruled by Venus). ... I would say this thread highlights to me the necessity or desirability of getting a professional horary reading done by a third person (if at all possible) for sensitive emotional questions. I think what people are saying is that Mars squares Jupiter before Mercury reaches Mars (thereby effecting a translation) and before Venus and Mars conjunct one another and that this could be a prohibition (or it might not be) depending on what Jupiter represents. I agree with Gunhilde that if the Sun is a significator then conjunction would give a Yes and combustion can be ignored (as Frawley says). But what I noticed (and I don't know if this affects things) is that actually Mercury conuncts the Sun before Venus does.....what effect (if any) do think this m... What about Jupiter applying to trine the ASC? Do you think that might be indicative of the two of you meeting up?
