Mercury, the job, will soon enter Libra, where it will receive you in detriment. This could explain your eventual dissatisfaction with the job. Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Will I obtain the post? Replies: 12 Views: 6401 Thu Aug 12, 2010 2:02 pm Jump to post
If we stick to the Moon's aspects to our main significators, it will first trine Venus (the other applicants), but after that it will sextile Mars, your significator, translating your light to Mercury, the job, which is the Moon's next aspect after Mars. The aspect will perfect in a little more than... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Will I obtain the post? Replies: 12 Views: 6401 Thu Aug 12, 2010 2:01 pm Jump to post
Since he has a Sun/North Node natal conjunction, this might mean that some sort of fated event was in store for him. Not something good, however, as they are on the 6th/12th house axis. Secondary progressed NN was conjunct his natal Sun around 1991-1992. In the solar return of 1993, he has a Sun/SN ... Does he have any clues as though whom it might have been? No, he has no idea whatsoever. So, you would always use the 7th house ruler. Still, I think I understand the logic behind Frawley's statement. We need a planet accidentally strong and therefore with power to act, yet essentially weak, with a... Significators A thief broke into the house of a friend of mine and stole two pieces of jewellery. He is asking if horary can tell him anything about the thief or the incident in general. I cast this chart: http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/5481/horarytheft.th.gif [/URL] So, the problem is which significator I sh... Interestingly, in determining legitimacy, neither Bonatti nor Sahl discuss turning the chart and looking at the 11th house, the fifth from the seventh. I have followed along with their instruction, but wanted to point this out. I don't know what they say about this, but wouldn't it make more sense ... I would follow the John Frawley method on this and use the 7th house ruler for love interests. It doesn't matter if it's your neighbour. If he were in your circle of friends and you suddenly started viewing him differently, would we use the 11th house? I don't think so. So you also get to keep the M... You took the 7th house ruler as any other person, but there is no separating aspect between Jupiter and your two rulers, yet we know for a fact that there have been phone calls. Your real question is if it's your sister calling. If we take the 3rd house ruler for your sister, it's Mars in Gemini, a ... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Missing Sister Calling? Still, what Frawley and Lilly say makes sense, doesn't it? At least to me. If I have Cancer on a house cusp, my approach towards the affairs of that house would be cancerian and therefore the Moon will always rule them, no matter how many other planets I have there. The other planets will affect my ... Forum: Nativities & General Astrology Topic: House rulers Replies: 28 Views: 11453 Tue Jul 21, 2009 4:53 pm Jump to post
I believe he was speaking about horary here No, I don't think he was talking only about a horary rule. I think I read it in one of his Real Astrology books, though I can't be certain. Anyway, in Lilly's book about the nativities, he almost always mentions the house ruler first and the planets there... Hmm... John Frawley, I think, says that the house ruler is more important than the planet in a house. The house simply benefits or is afflicted by a planet's presence, but if we want to learn about the affairs of a house in general we should check its' ruler. Unless I misinterpret him.
