one of the things that hit me straight away was the South Node on the Descendant. I agree about the nodes - interestingly I looked at it the opposite way round, perhaps because I was the querant, looking at the North Node on the Asc as being some sort of "gain" which taken with its cjn wi... Thank you Handn. With a stellium in Virgo & ruled by Sat, I see everything as a learning experience and have test everything. I drew up the chart not only because I felt unsettled but also to "test" horary. I was blown away at how powerful even the very basic significators were, in wha... I also consider Mercury as ruler of intercepted 9th/Virgo ....If this approach is wrong and if the 3rd house is ruled by Mars/Aries and 9th by Venus/Libra then the symbolism of the chart doesn't fit for me [??] I find it is visually confusing when you switch from Equal hse to Regiomontanus -but I s... I do not have enough experience to really draw a conclusion ? but here are my thoughts which may be of some use Mercury rules both the 1st and 2nd therefore is the significator for both the querent and the keys (quesited) ? which seems appropriate for lost car keys. Mercury is retrograde in Aries/8t... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Lost Honda Keys Replies: 10 Views: 5942 Thu Apr 14, 2011 4:28 pm Jump to post
I would definitely use Mars - being the trad ruler of Scorpio - 8th. So in some ways does tie in with your modern roots and Pluto. Other areas of the chart would add to your interpretation, dependind on your question Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Significator for power-plant Replies: 6 Views: 4177 Thu Apr 14, 2011 8:46 am Jump to post
I can understand your enthusiasm Hervaro. I appreciate people adding the significators because it really helps me learn and I can see how they reach their conclusions. I think both the 7th & 9th can describe the trip - but understood that the 7th describes the destination - perhaps leaving the 9... I haven't had a lot of practice with travel questions, so I may not have much to add. so as the querent it seems like maybe she was a bit of a party pooper for her husband, who is represented as Moon in Leo sextile Saturn. the husband may even be slightly selfish to force this upon her at this time... It's interesting to me that Mercury (the hour ruler) was retrograde at 9 degrees Virgo at the time of the question and had returned, this time direct, almost to the same place on the 18th of September - the planned departure date. That is interesting and I hadn't noticed this - I need to take a clo... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Horary for discussion- Will this be a good trip? hervaro wrote:MC and ruler show the trip itself: I had not thought of using MC/10th for the trip - I used the 9th. I suppose as the 10th can represent the outcome, perhaps it could be used as well Thank you for that Rhona - aka Virgo24 Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Horary for discussion- Will this be a good trip? This has been a really interesting example. I see the late ASC really did show that the matter had most probably been decided at the time the question was asked. About timing - I know there are various indicators within the chart that suggest the speed of an outcome. But can people advise on what th... As a beginner I am posting this without reading earlier postings - I find the detail and expertise daunting. So apologies if I am going back over old ground ? and thank you Paulo for encouraging beginners. Cancer ASC at 29.28 is very late - indicating it could be too late to judge the issue, however...
