One thing that I often do with horaries is note whether there is a final dispositor in the chart. If you keep posted on planetary positions daily, this is made easier. What you do is make a dispositor chain, and I usually start with the Sun and work forwards(noting if there are any planets in Leo), ...

I think what it all boils down to is actions and their motives. Dispositors show the nature of motive. The main significators of will(querent's will, quesited's will) show action, while their dispositors show motives for those actions.

Thank you Tanit, I hoped that somehow you would respond as I respect your input. I have explored Vedic, yes, it is a whole different perspective from Western systems. Yes you might say that the house system I use is influenced by it, but I think the main difference(other than the obvious--ayanamsa, ...

Though I know that many would disagree with me here(or not), and granted I did not read the older thread, but I tend to be of the opinion that Venus rules all relationships, in that they are diplomatic affairs between people who are doing business and exchanging things of value. Venus can 'rule' bot...

I use Equal Houses, whole signs, and I know that this is a lot of speculation, as yuzuru says, but I too would wonder whether the mother had anything to gain from the father's death. If we take the 11th as your friend, and the 8th as his father, his father's associates would be in Capricorn, the 6th...

A practical, non-astrological question-- If she is indeed making errors of this kind, why didn't her track record prior to the vacation indicate the same kind of errors? According to the background given, her till stayed even for the 5 months of her employment before the vacation. Let me answer my o...

If we see money--bills and coins--as an implement, Mercury as its ruler would kind of make sense.

As Mercury is in his own sign and opposite Jupiter/Uranus, could it be that no money is actually missing?? Is someone playing with the querent's mind?

I use Whole Signs Equal Houses. Thus the employer's money goes into the 11th House, and Jupiter rules it. Work associates I put into the 8th House(11th from 10th), so Mercury rules the associate. I think this jibes well with the 7th House cusp, as it is placed in Mercury's term in Leo. Mercury is in...

Question about dignities

I know that this seems like a fairly sophomoric question, but is it really possible for a planet to have more essential dignities in a certain location than the ruler of the sign? Well, there are some places in the zodiac where a planet that is not the ruler of the sign has more essential dignity th...

Sorry I got a little carried away. From this point on I will be content with waiting for the next chart challenge. But definitely the 8th is the house you want to look at regarding what you don't have as opposed to what you do have(2nd). You are using what you do have(money) to purchase something th...

Though it is probably against principle, I will attempt to judge your chart without actually seeing it(if others here will forgive--I am an eager beaver when it comes to horary). Correct me if any of the placements are incorrect(for example I really don't know when you made the chart, and I don't kn...
