Yods in Horary Guys, Do Yods have any place in horary judgements? I know quincunxes are negative or dangerous aspects. Does a Yod, a double quincunx in fact, mean anything in horary at all? Thanks for all feedback. Just realized that Moon -- which is singificator for Querent, no? -- makes its first aspect as sextile to Venus, which is Quesitted. Doesn't that help out at all, regardless of translation of light controversy? <t>Thanks for your response, Deb.<br/> <br/> Yes, it was actually you, either on this forum or somewhere else, that gave me the idea of not looking too far to the moon's movement, though you see things like "judge all aspects" or "final aspect indicates outcome" all the time. Do you think that's a m... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Do Primary Significators or Moon take priority? Replies: 10 Views: 4431 Sat Oct 08, 2005 5:45 pm Jump to post
Do Primary Significators or Moon take priority? This question was raised by a "future of a relationship" chart that I'm looking at. (October 5, 2005, 11:19 am, New York City). The primary significators in this chart are Jupiter (querent) in Libra and Mercury (quesitted) in Libra. Mercury is immediately moving into conjunction with Jupit... And re: your comment about the 5th Houses, Voyagergirl...the ruler of his turned 5th, Saturn in Leo, is located in my 5th, and closely sextiling the ruler of my 5th, Sun in Libra, being received by the Sun as well. Don't know what you think of that... And yes, teh Moon is in Virgo. Bad? Thanks again for your feedback. One possible interpretation is that we will remain close friends or become even closer but not get into a romantic or sexual relationship. Mutual reception seems to indicate a deep reciprocal love, but one where, because of the negative aspect between the two, nothing... Thnaks Voyager girl. Yeah, hmmmmmm..... It IS complicated though, isn't it. Because the first aspect is actually the Moon making a translation of light between the two mutually received significators, sextiling Venus, then trining Mars. Sounds perfect. But then immediately you get the opposition. Gu... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: Mutual reception versus bad applying aspect Replies: 9 Views: 5993 Wed Oct 05, 2005 3:16 pm Jump to post
Also wanted to point out that rulers of 2nd and 8th Houses, Jupiter and Mercury, are applying quickly to conjuntion right on chart descendant. Is this important? 2nd and 8th Houses i mean? Mutual reception versus bad applying aspect Guys, I have a question that in some ways continues the discussion of dignities and reception on another thread here. I posed a horary question myself. A very close, warm, loving friendship has been rapidly becoming more and more romantic lately. I asked if the friendship would turn into a regular, ... Saturn/Mars/Military: When are Malefics good? Folks, Have a little bit of a problem that I think goes to the heart of horary, or the heart of the relationship between horary and more symbolic, modern "psychological" astrology. I have, over the past few months, looked over charts concerning one individual and his career in the military... Retrograde planets and house cusps Guys, In traditional judgement a planet within five degrees of a house cusp is in the following house, right? How about a retrograde planet? Do we make the same consideration except in the opposite direction, considering it to be in the PREVIOUS house? Or with Nodes, that are always retrograde? Any ...
