@Stellarium I already pretty much explained in this thread that I think it's a choice to act on these murderous tendencies, and that many non-killers can have these placements. One can feel these tendencies, but never commit the act. I think these placements are more cautionary than rigid prediction... Re: Hmm. @Dave I wonder if we had a population of people with zero planets in any of those signs, would there be any murders? I believe it's all pretty much a choice, whether or not to act on these tendencies given by the violent signs. A person with placements in a violent sign could be feeling murderous hi... I already checked one, didn't seem to match. Edward Gein, who by my hypothesis, fulfills my criteria with Venus in Libra. He has part of spirit in Libra. Anyways, take a look at what he was known for. My guess would be that Venus in Libra in the 5th house trine Pluto in the 1st house would be why he... @Stellarium I posted: I don't believe everybody who has planets in a violent sign are serial killers, but so far from my findings, every (true)serial killer had a planet in a violent sign. I have Sun in Cap, Moon in Aries, Mars in Aries, Venus in Cap and Saturn in Cap, Mercury in Aquarius. I cringe ... Forum: Nativities & General Astrology Topic: Birthchart of serial killers. Birthchart of serial killers. Anybody with similar findings? So I checked the list on astrodatabank.com of serial killers to see if there was a unifying factor they'd all share. And based on this, I seem to have found something. What they all have in common is having either 1 or more of the 7 classical planets or Ascendant placed in a sign that has either exa... Hey waybread, I checked through astrodatabank.com before I came here to post my thread, already checked more than half of the astrologers there. I had to bend a bit, using semi-sextiles/quincunx, out of sign aspects, stretching the orbs a bit more. I forgot to mention this. I'll try to finish it up ... With the reception, mutual reception, dispositors, I didn't understand reception in that way. But I don't believe it has to be that rigid, you have to be flexible and keep molding it to match with the evidence to make the theory work. As you suggest in reference to Lilly's dignity system a proper de... By the way, I found Maurice McCann's birth info. His Mercury, at a pretty wide orb, squares Neptune in Virgo. 10? orb. Maybe there's reception happening there? Maybe reception can happen with platick aspects(whole sign aspects)? If reception can happen by whole sign aspects, Bernadette's Mercury rec... Hello MercQuarian, I think the criteria should be having the highest essential and accidental dignity, with no essential or accidental debilities, if that's possible? Like Waybread I feel this approach is a bit too reductionist. Moreover the question is what kind of astrologer are we talking about?... Maybe some of you can help me with this. The criteria: Mercury in Gemini(domicile), night chart(for triplicity), within 7?(for terms) Maybe conjunct North Node(it's exaltation)? Mercury in Virgo(domicile), 15?(exaltation degree), can't have terms and face at the same time and for them to be at 15?. ... Criteria for Astrologers based on condition of their Mercury If you guys want a really competent astrologer to learn from, we should find somebody whose Mercury is at the highest dignity possible. Or perhaps be on the search for somebody who has that and teach them astrology. Mercury creates astrologers, right? I just thought it would be appropriate. Also I n...
