Good annotated primers requested where might one find the best annotated and footnoted Ptolemy and the best of such concerning Lilly? I know D Houlding has done part of Lilly by annotation but do not know of others or of a complete Lilly by annotation. to pick my favorite is arbitrary and capricious. By way of example, placidus puts my sun, venus and mayhaps hermes in the 11th. But whole sign [hellenistic] puts me in a 'bad place'.
