Morinus, LAT, LMT and Equation of Time Hello everybody, Working on time standards to introduce a full user interface in A32v3, I went back to looking at the thread created by Martin Gansten more than a year ago (birth of Copernicus): http://skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11233&view=next&sid=5481266e07658b82c776a8b249cb734... Traditional Techniques in A32v345 Astrolog32v345 is now available. http://astrolog32v3.altervista.org/Download.htm Careful debugging work has been done and the program now offers remarkable reliability. It may be useful to specify what the program offers for Traditional Techniques, in particular for PDs. Here are some brief hints on... Unfortunately, a rather serious bug has been detected in the Primary Directions charts. We are working on fixing it. At the moment I recommend using the previous version, the V330. Astrolog32v3 version 340 available Hi everyone Astrolog32v340 has been released. There are numerous new features, partly drawn from other freeware and made more usable here. Some of them are quite unique. Below is the link to the download and the changelog http://www.astrolog32v3.altervista.org/Download.htm Thanks to Walter Pullen fo... I am not an orthodox traditionalist astrologer :-) I prefer not to express opinions. On this splendid forum you will find a thousand tips. Roberto Forum: News, Notices, Books, Links Topic: Primary Direction Explorer 0.6.2 Replies: 10 Views: 3877 Sat Jun 19, 2021 3:39 pm Jump to post
At that time I studied the program and had an email exchange with the author. It would be difficult to go into details, which I do not remember exactly, but as far as I have verified the primary directions of the PDE are not the traditional ones. I has been too hasty to comment on ZET's three-dimensional graphs when they are used in Placidus house system. The problem that arises with Placidus derives from the fact that each planet has its own diurnal arc with celestial latitude other than zero (the orbits do not lie on the ecliptic) and that... Hi Harold, As for the link you reported, as I understood from the example shown, ZET also correctly depicts the three-dimensional representation of the Placidean domification. That is, it is not based on the in mundo path of the Sun and then projecting onto this (somehow) the position of the planets... Hi Harold, I apologize for my absence, but the Skyscript forum has some imperfections... In addition to changing the content of the texts if some mathematical notation is used, most of the time I do not receive notifications of reply messages on the threads I participate in. So I had not noticed you... Forum: News, Notices, Books, Links Topic: Regiomontanus and Morinus program Question Replies: 22 Views: 9897 Tue Apr 27, 2021 12:49 pm Jump to post

Hi Harold, Attention: ZD is not a point. As already explained, it is the arc measured on the Prime Vertical (a great circle) starting from the Zenith or the Nadir, whichever is the smallest, up to the point where the Circle of Houses passing through the position of the planet intersects. When you as... Forum: News, Notices, Books, Links Topic: Regiomontanus and Morinus program Question Replies: 22 Views: 9897 Sat Apr 17, 2021 1:31 pm Jump to post
