I think that Frawleys advice on reading the myth and see if it can be applied is very good and basically necessary. This is also how I understand Bradys work. The myth about Perseus and Medusa also contains a development that justifies the psychological view of sublimation inherent in that approach....

That is an interesting division between what a thing does as to what the thing is in itself.
Somewhere I have picked up the expression "camera obscura" which means dark room (if memory serves). Thats very Saturn.

In Rex Bills "The Rulership Book", Moon, Neptune and the sign of Cancer rules glass. But he also mentions Mercury and Leo in a parenthsis.
Personally I tend to see Moon as the ruler. Interestingly, the book has Moon, Mercury and Neptune connected to eyeglasses.
