By practicing astrology, we are trying to read what is written in the sky - a Mercurial activity. Hence astrologers and the art of astrology are traditionally signified by Mercury. Symbolically speaking, Mercury never departs from the Sun more than 27 degrees in ecliptical longitude: Hence the Sun s... Forum: Philosophy & Science Topic: Whence astrology? As I know, in the book of Wulff, (Tierkreis und Hackenkreuz) at page 247 there is the Horoskope of Hitler with Libra AS, as he used! So Wulff used a rectified chart for Hitler. Still with Libra ASC, though. He was not the personal astrologer of Hitler, he was working for the GESTAPO, special for Sc... Wilhelm Wulff might have been personal astrologer to Hitler. But how do you know that he used the chart with Libra ASC and not another one? Vice versa for Krafft. The article in Zenit 11/1933 wasn't written by Wulff. You can only give sound judgement about politics when you are an insider, i.e. the ... If you are a personal astrologer for ruling class, this is another story. We don't know which chart was used by Krafft. It is quite likely that there are private astrologers consulted by eminent persons, but these astrologers won't discuss their insights in public forums, let alone tell private data... Hitler's chart might have Rodden's AA rating, but this isn't guarantee that the data is correct. Who is this "gentleman acquainted with Hitler's sister-in-law"? If you ask me, Hitler more likely had a Leo ASC with ruler Sun at the MC. Leo as a feral sign fits his loud speeches better than ... The political elite isn't interested in having their nativities publicly examined, so they might lie about their birth times or even dates (take Josef Stalin, for example). It is known to them that astrology works, so they want to play their cards close to the chest. Ancient Roman emperors sued astr... I'm not sure why you expect Johannes to reply again, when he has already given you many replies. Since you are the one that has been prolonging this discussion by insisting on what Lilly meant, the best advice I can give you is to read the link I posted before - http://www.skyscript.co.uk/moon2.htm... Each one of them, in its body has power over a certain number of degrees before and after it. The power of the body of the Sun is 15? in front of it, and the same number behind it. The power of the body of Saturn and Jupiter, both of them, is 9? in front and behind?1 Know that the body of the Sun i... Forum: Nativities & General Astrology Topic: A battle of reception ? Hi Oculus, I haven't had time to read this thread in great detail (this is my umpteenth to the power of infinity time that I've seen discussions like this :) ) but I seem to share the view that Johannes is expressing. The truth is, that Lilly was not always careful and precise in the wording of his... Forum: Nativities & General Astrology Topic: A battle of reception ? "Applicative" belongs to Application and this is not "just another way of saying that there'll be an exact aspect in the future", as you say but application is essential and means a planet's being within the orbs of another planet, i.e. " within the moiety [or half] of both... [1] My point is not the spelling but the wording: there is no mentioning of "the applicative aspect must be perfected in the same sign" as you pretend but Lilly claims only that the planet must "apply". This is why I quoted Lilly's text again and gave the explanation in the next... Forum: Nativities & General Astrology Topic: A battle of reception ? I'm some interested in traditional astrology. But there's too much memorization; all these rules and step by steps. It doesn't fit in my brain so well with the exception of primary directons. Uranian is more precise than traditional, it asks that you use 1 degree orbs. http://www.skyscript.co.uk/as... Forum: Nativities & General Astrology Topic: A battle of reception ?
