Does reception mitigate harm? If I have a malefic on the tenth of another planet, maltreating it, is that maltreatment mitigated by being in the domicile of the maltreated planet? For example, Saturn in Virgo maltreats by square Mercury in Sagittarius. But Mercury governs Saturn's residence; can Saturn do as much harm as before?... Thanks, Konrad. That helps a bit. It's a nocturnal chart, and Mars is in the first house, which does help explain a few things (esp. since it's lord of the 9th and 4th houses, major concerns for the native, and also the locations of daimon and tykhe).
