Hello Quranos, many, many thanks for the detailed answer to my questions! Which is logically comprehensible and makes sense. I came to my solution suggestion shown above (under point 3), because I vaguely remembered to have read in a book once, if a house or the ruler of a house is already assigned ... House assignment of relatives - book recommendation? Dear Astrologers, by interpreting Virginia Woolf's horoscope following questions came up: 1. Are there any good books that comprehensively explain the assignment of family relatives using derivative houses? Can anyone recommend a book? 2. As a child Virginia was sexually abused by one or both of her... Forum: Traditional (& Ancient) Techniques Topic: House assignment of relatives - book recommendation? Hello Tanit, what a beautiful surprise my dear! Your search tips, links to book recommendations and a website exclusively dedicated to that topic was more than I hoped to find here. I did search the internet before for 'event charts' and 'event astrology' with little success. But now I'm aware they ... How to read event charts for criminal cases? Dear astrologers! Beg your pardon that my following interest is going in a morbid direction. I'm a passionate reader of detective novels so that might be an explanation. For some time now I like to know more about event charts. Especially event charts of homicide, murder, attacks and assassinations ... Forum: Horary & Electional Astrology Topic: How to read event charts for criminal cases? A standard astrological chart shows the longitudes of the planets, that is, their projections onto the ecliptic by a line (well, circle, really) perpendicular to the ecliptic. The Morinus PD chart you refer to shows not longitudes, but something more akin to co-risings: if you set the date to the b... Not quite sure how you envisage this. When you project the actual position of a planet (i.e., including latitude) onto the ecliptic, what you get is the position without latitude that is typically used in astrology. I'll try to show what I mean with a example birth chart of Prince Charles : https:/... Martin thank you for your clear explanation. So mundan aspects can also be measured in a birth chart itself. Lets have a look at a birth chart: 1. First it's calculated with planets without latitude (as we usually do). 2. Then it's calculated with planets including their latitudes. (The planet posit... Primary Direction: Mundane vs zodiacal sig and prom latitude Hi there, what is the difference between: 1. Mundane primary directions 2. Zodiacal primary directions with significator and promissor latitude Both methods do have the same hit dates for directions to planet bodies (cunjunction aspects). But if aspects > 0 are involved both methods differ. Why is t... Hi Fleur, In the Astrodienst chart of President Kennedy http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Kennedy,_John_F. his Uranus is only shown as retrograde, but in the ephemeris Uranus does look to go retrograde exactly on 29th May 1917, the day he was born. To me that looks stationary, and highly significa... Forum: Nativities & General Astrology Topic: By what speed is a planet stationary? Replies: 12 Views: 6980 Tue Feb 07, 2017 4:49 pm Jump to post
