Glad to hear an update. Though I predicted not losing the job it's interesting to note that using whole sign houses both benefics are placed in the 10th, showing stability in matters pertaining to one's job. L12 is spell. L11 is friend and L10 is job. Sorry for the confusion. Not sure if I agree that you cannot ask this particular question. Thanks for your input I'll think it over. Also I don't have access to the chart data otherwise I would post it here. Sorry for that. It is in the traditional horary astrology FB page if anyone is a member of that. Prohibition of Conjunction There is a chart someone posted on FB in which they wanted to know if a spell they cast to help a friend get a job is working. One person says that the will get the job because L10, the Sun, applies to L11, retrograde Mercury, in Virgo. Sun is at 17dgrs and Mercury at 23dgrs (again both in Virgo). T... I note that the Moon again applies to the Sun, this time by sextile. Mars, the Asc lord, is bonified by a superior square from Venus even though no reception intervene. They are both of the sect in favor and this is powerful especially as Venus is in the superior position. What is fascinating is tha... This is not the place to debate this but I just want to mention that one can arrive at the same conclusions using both Sidereal and Tropical for the same chart if one delineates by relying on the rather in depth techniques outlined by older astrological authors. The reason being is that these techni... Forum: Mundane & Financial Astrology Topic: The US Presidential election of 2016 Replies: 309 Views: 107103 Fri Jul 29, 2016 2:23 am Jump to post
Correct I do not live on the Southern side of the equator and this is something I have struggled with for a while. Rudhyar once suggested switching the signs 180 dgrs for those who live below it but I do not believe this is necessary any longer. The explanation I currently subscribe to is a rather o... The fullest and most convincing treatment of the Tropical Zodiac in terms of why the signs manifest the qualities they do manifest would be (to me at least) found in Dane Rudhyar's text The Pulse of Life, in which everything is understood from a profound cyclical point of view... On a side note, how... Forum: Philosophy & Science Topic: Rudolf Steiner and the Zodiac Replies: 20 Views: 23884 Sat Jul 16, 2016 6:54 pm Jump to post
Actually there is reception, classically speaking, between these three planets. The Moon is in Saturn's exaltation and the Sun is in the domicile of the Moon so this translation of light looks very effective indeed. Saturn receives the Moon while the Moon receives the Sun. Thanks, that is all very useful information. From what I have been able to gather the 12th parts were used by certain astrologers as secondary zodiacal positions relative to the radix. These 12th parts do indeed give a lot of very pertinent information not otherwise found in the chart (again this is... 9th Parts (Novenaria) I am rather familiar at this point with the Navamsa and how it is used but I am curious if anyone has done any digging and experimenting with the 9th parts described in various medieval texts (Bonatti, Abu Mashar, etc). It is interesting to me that the Persian/Arabic astrologers emphasized the plane...
