Re: Review on a medical horary Georgius thanks, Some nice insights there, and quite in tune with my own approach. *** My proposed solution to the querent: ____________________________________ - L4 is the dad, Saturn in Fall, which would turn retro soon, and thus evade a cnj with Neptune which can symbolize weakness and deteriorat... Review on a medical horary Querent's dad is old (85-ish) and has started to take a new anti-gout medicine (Febuxostat), which can have strong side effects. Querent's dad took the same medicine 1.5 years ago, and then treatment was stopped, as the medicine caused much tiredness and a serious lack of appetite. But the gout retu... Re: Rating of peregrine planets For years now I give -3 for peregrine planets, it puts them just below fall which get -4 and below detriment which gets -5. I believe that Charles Obert does the same thing. I usually don't give a double negative (say a -5 for detri and a -3 for pereg). Calculating almuten or triplicity scores Hi everyone, In the case of calculating the almuten score of a degree in the chart, say the MC degree. In such a case one would add in +5 for domicile ruler, +4 for almuten ruler (if any), +3 for triplicity ruler (or rulers if we're using hellenistic), +2 for term and +1 for face. But another inhere... Forum: Traditional (& Ancient) Techniques Topic: Calculating almuten or triplicity scores Replies: 2 Views: 10586 Wed Jul 09, 2025 4:52 pm Jump to post
Re: Local Space Astrology - A Few Questions Ouranos hi, Thanks for your reply, it was an interesting read. Actually just used Lavoie's method in a lost object horary recently. Though, according to the client, it didn't work. He did find his passport using other info-bits from the horary though. Re: Significators for sex workers Martin: Will try to look for the relevant parts in Rhetorius and Abu Bakr later. Thanks for the reference. Which sign (tropical) was Venus in? In the chart example you mention. I also wonder, which houses Venus and Saturn rule in the chart? Lecherous/licentious signs are bestial signs (ari, tau, ca... Significators for sex workers Hi everyone, Which significators would you assign to the topic of sex work, or to people who are/were engaged with such a thing? I remember watching a student showcase presentation on the Kepler college channel, in which a student named Christopher Funk did a small research. His results were that pe... Re: Are Spain/Portugal ruled by Taurus Zosma hi, Campion's Book of World Horoscopes gives 2 charts to Spain. One of them is 19.1.1479. 12:00 LMT, Madrid. That produces a Taurus ASC. For Portugal he gives 3 charts, non of which has Taurus rising. Do you reside in one of these countries? Re: Parans in Astrocartograhy Ed: Ed hi, thanks for replying. I've read your reply, a few times, but still some things remain unclear.
