Venus is the woman's co-significator in relationship charts, unless she is taken by L1 or L7 or some other person involved in the question, such as a child, for example. The Sun is the Man. Disregard that and you have disregarded a large piece of the psyche being investigated.

In no other type of horary chart the fact that we have multiple inner voices is so clear and relevant as in relationship charts. Mind, heart and body. We have significators for all of them to give details about our motivations.

I originally thought this chart would take years to perfect due to the Moon in a fixed sign and the significators in Cadent houses.

I asked the question again a few times after this happened and it's a clear 'no' every time which is why I think this chart has already played out. Otherwise, I would still believe it's years. Obviously the Universe isn't sympathizing with me on this anymore. Deep down, I think I know that it could never be the same.

Generally speaking, yes. But not everything can or should be answered as "yes" or "no". The combined interpretation of those three dimensions will give a broader or deeper meaning to the anwer to your question.

No, not negative all the time. It depends on the question. We look at all the significators for a complete picture of the situation.

Let's look at the logic of horary and how it applies to this particular chart:

The receptions between the two of you could not be better. It describes perfectly the relation you say you have with this person. You are very attuned/attracted to one another. Mercury in Jupiter's sign and vice-versa. The Sun is in Jupiter's sign. The Moon is in the Sun's sign. He is completely positively inclined/receptive towards you and you towards him.

Venus is in its own sign. The textbook interpretation without any consideration for context and/or not taking it as a woman's cosignificator is that Venus in Libra is a wonderful thing. Well, it can be wonderful if things go her way. Otherwise it is a pretty lonely place to be, focussed solely on herself.

This Venus describes a facet of your psyche when you asked the question. That is of someone with a high degree of expectations and hopes for, and confidence in, oneself. Autonomy. Specifically as a "woman". It is the picture of happiness for a woman. Venus is angular, so these hopes an visions and feelings of happiness is what drove you to make all the decisions to meet that man. Venus is the only angular planet in the chart. Venus is the decision-maker and has the power to act. Can you see that part of yourself in the situation?

Significators in detriment show the opposite. Therefore, there was a part of you that was very unhappy about yourself, unhappy about your situation, about your predicament.

So, we have two distinct parts of yourself involved in the situation. One with the most positive hopes and feeling empowered. Another feeling terrible about oneself. The contradictions of human nature. And the chart shows that.

Look at the Sun (his co-significator); it is conjunct Saturn. Translation: he has another person in his life. This is spot on in 99% of relationship charts.

Notice that Venus exalts Saturn. Here we read receptions as "power over". Meaning Saturn has power over Venus (by exaltation). Saturn being with the Sun determines to a significant degree the outcome of the situation for this highly expectative Venus. This translates as: 3rd person "rules" or "has power over" your plans and thus can help spoil those plans and spoil those positive feelings.

Mercury is in its detriment in the sign of house one so it does not mean he is unhappy. He is very much into you. But Mercury is on Pluto by antiscion, so he is afflicted/upset to some degree. Mercury and the Sun being in the 12th house show that, despite the love he feels for you he is stuck in a place of inability to act and cannot/will not change the situation. Neither can the Moon in the 8th change the situation, depicting weakness to act as well as emotional distress. Jupiter is in a neutral house, but being in its detriment it feels "defeated" or "resigned" in its unhappiness. Also, Mercury being combust shows the Sun is the boss in his own psyche. That is, the Sun is with Saturn and there is nothing Mercury can do rationalize the situation and change it.

An applying aspect shows opportunity. What will come out of that opportunity is determined by the receptions and dignities.

The Moon is translating light from Mercury to Venus. But the Moon has no power to take the light of Mercury to Venus so likely the aspect will not come to fruition. And we have Mercury applying to meet Jupiter. Again Mercury will not act and likely not Jupiter either.

So, my answer would be: now is not the time to be with this man, one reason being that he has someone else in his life and won't let go. Another being that you are not happy with yourself and not being happy with oneself makes it very difficult being happy with others.

The Moon in a fixed sign or significators cadent could not mean that. In my experience timing in horary is accurate only when timing is part of the main the focus of the question. AND the correct technique must be applied.

The Moon in a fixed sign however, means that the feelings that arose in the situation, particularly how you feel about him and the distress, would not go away easily.

The chart shows the immediate future. If a significant change were in store for either of you that change would appear in the chart. So, for the time being, I'm afraid there is no prospect with this person.

Thanks for sharing with us StarzQ and I know this was a very hard time for you. In fact it can often be a good idea, when it comes to matters like this which are so close, to defer the horary to someone else or to seek out a professional if you don't know anyone who can read the chart on your behalf. Perhaps though the purpose of doing the horary yourself was to allow yourself to hope that bit more to give yourself a bit more breathing room to process your emotions.

As Felipe pointed out, the Sun is typically indicative of masculinity and Venus is indicative of femininity, particularly the erotic or love interest sense. It could be that this man has moved on and is trying for a new relationship. It could just as equally be a focus on career (10th house) or his home life or moving home (being his turned 4th) but realistically I think in the romantic setting of the horary, it's likely that he at least tried to move on with someone else.

Felipe, part of me is/was very confident in myself, yes. It's because I know that I'm the love of his life. He expressed that to me, and he also expressed confidence that we would be together someday- so, part of me believes that. Part of me knows that he will always love me, so yeah, even though I feel bad, I do have that confidence. I feel superior, in his heart, to any other person he has been with or will be with. I also feel superior not just in his heart but physically for him, yeah. To say he thought I was beautiful is an understatement. We actually look alike physically. In some ways he could be a male version of myself. And we have a bond like twins. Mentally spiritually and physically.

Paul, thank you. I sometimes wonder if significators can have multiple layers of meaning. Venus could represent another woman, but as I was just explaining to Felipe, it also makes sense as a secondary significator for me.

What happened was my husband found messages between the Quesited and I so I cut communication with Quesited. This question was asked a year and a half after that happened.

After I cut communication, the Quesited eventually moved on with another woman and had a child with her which broke my heart. I didn't see a way to ever be with him after this because things would be too complicated, but I could sense he wasn't happy so held out some hope amongst despair. Hense I asked this question.

Things were going badly with my husband and had been for a long time. I didn't feel my husband loves me, so over the summer, 6 months after I asked this question, I decided to leave my husband, with or without being able to fall back on the promise of this other love. I thought I could just be by myself. Well, when I left and moved across the country back home, near Quesited, all I could think about was my loss. And I thought my husband was better than no one. And I imagined what I had was not so bad.

Two weeks after I moved back with my husband, I heard the Quesited left the woman he was with- the mother of his child. But he left her for another woman, so they are together now and it is the strangest coupling. I just couldn't ever imagine him with her.

That's what happened. So there was no communication and we never saw each other.

With regards to my previous comments,

I actullay mean is that a planet will not receive another planet at its detriment. Let me give another example; Mercury in Libra will not receive Moon in Sag as Mercury is at its detriment at Sag.

It is the faster planet that applies in the mechanics of the chart. "Applies" simply means: "moves towards". As opposed to "separate", with obvious meaning.

NOTE: if one of the planets is retrograde then both planets "apply".

As far as my experience is concerned which planet applies has no implication on which significator takes action. The significator which takes action is given by the context and/or is shown by accidental dignity.
