Donald Trump has no planets near the MC; The MC is in Taurus where he does have three planets distant by 23-28 degrees from the MC. Venus is in the 12th sign with Saturn. Konrad, how does the time-lord system point to his ascendancy to the U.S. presidency on January 20, 2017? Thank you! I'll chip in on this briefly if I may. The main significator showing this event in Trump's life is not, in my opinion, the MC itself, but the sun in the 10th (equal and quadrant). Trump was born with Regulus on the Asc, co-rising with an out-of-sect Mars that truly reflects his personality. The sun as ruler of the Asc has the doryphory of Jupiter by trine (which is to say that the trine of Jupiter rises just prior to the sun). The sun is now directed to the strange Mars-Regulus conjunction in the terms of Jupiter. I believe this is the reason both for Trump's rise to political power (amidst huge controversy and following a campaign of unprecented lies and hate-mongering, all signified by a bad Mars) and for his continual setbacks. Because the sun is hylegiacal, and opposing the moon as a secondary hyleg (meaning that the moon will soon be directed to the opposition of Mars), this train of directions is also potentially life-threatening. Finally, as Konrad mentioned Trump's (deservedly) bad press in relation to women, it is worth noting that his Asc is currently directed to the square of Venus in the 12th. https://astrology.martingansten.com/ Quote Thu Mar 16, 2017 7:26 am
14 by Konrad Yeah, Martin, I got home last night and saw that Jupiter was divisor. I agree. Though, as you know, I won't let go of profected houses and revolution aspects to show the general happenings of one's life. http://www.esmaraldaastrology.wordpress.com Quote Thu Mar 16, 2017 7:34 am

But becoming president is a fairly major event, so I'd expect the directions to show it first. I agree with what you said about Mercury as ruler of the year, but would add that it is besieged by the malefics in the revolution. https://astrology.martingansten.com/ Quote Thu Mar 16, 2017 9:31 am

Yes, I don't ever look at the revolutions without having looked at the directions first, I was just not near my computer when I replied to Therese. Though I am still not convinced of particulars being signified by them. I hadn't noticed Mercury's last aspect being Mars, though in the Babylonian measurement Mars is in the last degree of Libra. I wonder if that would change that besieged status? And of course, there are other indications of status this year for him such as the revolution ASC lord applying to the Sun by trine while sitting on the degree of natal Jupiter. http://www.esmaraldaastrology.wordpress.com Quote Thu Mar 16, 2017 11:13 am
