by ModWasp I suppose the only thing one can be certain with Uranus is that there's no certainties! You're still 6th with plenty of racing to go. And our league is 13th. My last 2 of the day are Abe Lincoln and Grecian Light Last edited by ModWasp on Wed Jun 21, 2017 3:29 pm, edited 1 time in total. Verum e Quote Wed Jun 21, 2017 3:21 pm
by GB To be honest, I have been lucky with a couple of longer odds horses coming in 2nd or 3rd. A 66/1 place was very useful (Spirit of Valour). C5 biquintile Mars. Quote Wed Jun 21, 2017 3:24 pm
by ModWasp Good call. You must have both Appleby and Buick in your stable? Because Sound and Silence really beefed up the points yesterday! I have them both myself, but in different stables. I need Balding to make an effort over the next few days. Verum e Quote Wed Jun 21, 2017 3:30 pm
by Jupiterhead Gold Cup - 16:20 Looks like the Mars aspect will be separating within seconds, so I'll punt the quincunx to Jupiter. This race is such an unknown quantity, with only 3 horses ever having competed at the distance. Order Of St George is the obvious choice, but the odds are rubbish. I will go e/w on Big Orange. A speedy type, and will go on the ground. My one worry is he's never raced over 2 miles - hopefully he stays! If it's not astronomically true, it's not astrologically true. 30 by john It was a day when I had too many options in races. In the first race my short list of four was Whitecliffsofdover, Dream Castle, Mubtasim and Parfait, so I have to make a non astrological call. You can guess which two I went for! This theme continued. Well done to GB in the competition, hope you get the full card tomorrow. Quote Wed Jun 21, 2017 6:49 pm
by john Looks like everyone's gone shy. Same dilemma as yesterday in some of the races. Anyhow, here are the horses to avoid today. At least we get the same starting planet - but what does it signify? Many of my thoughts overlap with your JAM ones but I will probably split the multiple possibilities across different stables. Still a few hours to make up my mind. Quote Thu Jun 22, 2017 9:39 am
by ModWasp I also have similar Consequences/ Nine Below Zero Mirage Dancer Gracious Diana/ Naughty or Nice Big Orange/ Quest for More Leader's Legacy/ Senator First Nation plus a few others. Is there a reason why these posts aren't on the fantasy thread? Verum e Quote Thu Jun 22, 2017 9:45 am
by GB I'm tending to just reply to posts and so end-up in that thread. Probably does not matter. One of the more difficult races today is the double points Gold Cup. Is Jupiter Big or is it More ? We will probably find it's neither! Quote Thu Jun 22, 2017 9:54 am
