which house for a long distance journey?

1
Hello everyone. Recently I have cast a horary for a question When will l go to Ruma? Currently l live in Germany and in Ruma (Serbia)is my family. l am not quite sure which house stands for the quesited - is it the ninth house(wich l am prone to take) or is it rather the seventh house (destination)?Asc is capricorn, thus l am represented by saturn at 6?30'leo, the moon is at 28? gemini, the ruler of the ninth house is venus, at 29? aries. So if the ruler of the quesited is venus, it is a prety clear answer, since moon's next aspect is a sextile to venus. Moreover, venus applies to saturn which also means a yes answer to the question. But if the moon is the ruler of the quesited, nothing will happen and l will not be able to go home so soon. l am confused.Help, anyone?

Long distance journeys aren't always necessarily the ninth house. For example, if I regularly commute from London to New York three times a week on business, then this is third house. It is a routine, ordinary journey, part of my day to day activity. There is nothing special about it, no sense of sacredness. However, if I go for a Summer break in the Lake District, only a few miles from where I live, then this is ninth house, because it is special.

Going to Ruma, in this case, is ninth house, because this is a special and not a routine journey. If you were to travel back and forth regularly to Ruma, as part of your day to day, mundane affairs then it would be third.

Hello, Goca. Actually I was born in Croatia so that would be my real 4th house(roots), yet my parents and my sister live in Ruma so that would be my second home, I guess :) I was also thinking about the 4th house as important in this case, but since it is ruled by venus as well, I didn`t have to consider it separately. Thanks for your opinion.

Thanks, Draco your explanation brought me a little further in my pursuit of horary knowledge which is altogether still in its infancy, but I am eager to learn. So now I can't resist asking your opinion on a similar matter: I inquired whether my father would come to visit me soon in Germany(he announced it, although somewhat vaguely). Should I look for the applying aspect between 4th house ruler and 1st house ruler(and moon) or for an aspect of the 4th ruler and 12th ruler (his long journey)?I tend to look at the connection of the latter two.
Thanks in advance.
