congratulations on your advance prediction... i was baffled beforehand and am still baffled on how you arrived at this position based only off the astro... there are transits of t squares in the heavens quite frequently..

to help others here to understand how you arrived at this particular time frame - mid august 2018, could you tell us what the astro rationale for this prediction?

i can see in retrospect, but i wouldn't have been motivated to make a prediction in advance based on the astrology i see here....

also - the 2 events happened on aug 10th and late on aug 11th - as opposed to the chart where you posted for aug 16th with moon in scorpio.. today coincidentally the moon is in scorpio...

as i have said above - i can see the astro rationale now, but would have been hard pressed to make a prediction like this in advance of what you were able to.. and outside of any insider info you might have had on these events in advance thru working with the intel services of jordan, i am mystified as to how you arrived at your prediction... please give us the astro insights you were working with for our educational benefit.. thanks!

The technique I following (Keep in mind, that I've started learning mundane astrology on 2017) is to build a geocentric chart (transit and progression with different degrees) for that country for one or two years (I've shared that already in this thread)

Then I look into all hard aspect and build a chart for the event for these hard aspects, then I do my analysis for that chart.

Hope this clarified what I am doing,

thanks for getting back to me on this.. so, as i understand it, you are using the chart for jordan that you shared in the first post, as your root chart and looking at the using transits and progressions to this chart... if so, i understand this approach very well, although aside from the grand square that you shared in the chart for aug 16th, were there any progressions or anything else that you based your prediction on?

as i understand it, t squares and hard aspects happen quite frequently and for me would not be enough of a basis to make a prediction on a terrorist event 3 or 4 months in advance... this is why i continue to ask if you have any more specific astrology on this to add here, as i am not seeing it just based on the transits that were in effect at the time!

now, it is true, if we use the 12 noon chart for jordan - may 25th 1946, we can see the mars/pluto conjunction in the 12th sign to the rising sign virgo... this is a planetary combo that i associate with potential violence.. the transiting mercury square jupiter was right in this vicinity of the mars/pluto at the time of this event.. in fact, the event was close to the new moon in leo was which also a partial solar eclipse...

i was considering the nodal axis transiting at 5 leo/aquarius with the transit of mars retro at zero aquarius and as it turned out, the solar eclipse chart for the capital of jordan does highlight the jupiter/mercury square very clearly as shown in the chart below.. i believed wrongly that this wasn't enough to trigger a terrorist action, but i was wrong on that..



i regret not looking more closely and giving your request greater consideration... if one factors in the solar eclipse chart highlighting the mars/pluto conjunction in the 12th house area, i can see more clearly how this could play out... the timing for it though is tricky and as you noted in your chart for aug 16th - just when it might happen is a challenge in itself as well... for me, the mars transit retro on the south node, coinciding with all this, seems to have been the critical combination and threshold for this event astrologically...

ehad - i would be curious if you have the actual timing of the terrorist events that happened in august 2018? all i could find were general posts where the days were vaguely mentioned.. do you happen to know what time these events took place specifically? i would be curious to look at that.. thanks.. james

just looking at this after i posted it - the new moon at 18 leo is very close to the mars at 16, and in fact 16 is the midpoint to the new moon with mercury at 14... also, on the thread i shared in my first post on this thread, i put up a chart of the solar return to the national chart for jordan and noted how it was going to be a challenging year for jordan as these terrorist events seem to collaborate.. check that thread out if you are interested in seeing the solar return chart for 2018.. the solar return for 2019 looks generally more favourabe then the one i shared on that thread for 2018...
