I would suggest that both England and Sweden is in deep troubble! :-)

That is, if one consider England and Sweden as favorites. In both cases the ruler of the Asc seems a lot weeker than the ruler of the Seventh. And the Saturn/Mars conjunction seems to be involved to.

England is of course the favorite team. We Swedes are another matter after our last game! :-)

Well it makes a change from predicting disasters/bombings/wars etc so yes its a bit of fun (unless the predictions are correct of course in which case its a brilliant example of technique and expertise lol!).

I was too busy looking at Englands game but from what I've seen theres more going on re. the Moon during Swedens match so I'll stick my neck out and suggest that the 2nd match will be more interesting to watch for the neutral observer and I'm fairly neutral because in Manchester we regard ourselves as a country by itself seperate from the suburban tedium of the rest of england. Thats why all the music emanates from here;-)

I'm pretty confident of an England win despite the ruler of the 7th being in its own house. Maybe Trinidad will get the plaudits afterwards. So I reckon it'll be a much tighter match than the bookies would suggest.

2-1 to England with the luck on Englands side and a late goal. I'm guessing that Mr.Rooney will make an appearance later on but that could be wishful thinking on my part.

I think they'll make it through along with england in 2nd place. A high scoring draw or they might just nick it.

No, merely for the match itself.

It does have some credence in that it uses as similar method to the way Lilly predicted the winners and losers of battles during the Civil War. Whether we can translate such fundamental belief to that of a few bling bling merchants kicking a footballa bout is open to question. Its worth trying though and its a 'fun' way of learning about antiscions. I wouldnt advise putting more than a few quid on the result but it does add a bit of excitement - something singularly lacking in the tournament so far (esp compared to Japan).

Theres always a tendency to let personal feelings sway matters. I'd be quite pleased with the previous predictions but because I felt England would win the 1st match in the Swedish match I expected both teams to go hell for leather whereas the precise oppisite happened.

Oh well at least I got the winners correct if not the scores.

To tell the truth I gave up during Swedens game and went to bed after about 70 minutes. So I missed the GOAL! :-)

If I have understood it correctly Sweden has not lost against England since 1968. That would make Sweden favorites? On the other hand; you have Svennis and we have a wounded Zlatan. So it is probably quite even! :-)

I'm afraid there isn't a clear favourite and we've already qualified so Sven seems to be playing our reserve side:))

I've glanced at the chart for Poland v Costa Rica in the hope that it'd show an upset but no such luck. It seems a Polish victory.

Not really many surprises so far. I based the Polish victory purely on the basis of Fortunas antiscion conj the Moon (that should be enough to see them through).

According to the bookies' odds, England are marginally the favourites, presumably based on current form rather than past history.

Two matches are being played at the same time this evening, as they were this afternoon, which makes prediction rather difficult. The afternoon scores were different but the favourites won, as they seem to be doing pretty consistently.

I think England will win, but I'm probably biased

This might be a good time to place a bet on Sweden to spring a surprise. Germany are clear favourites but I think its going to be a far closer match than the pundits are suggesting.

So far too many things have been going to plan with usual German efficincy and dare I say tedium. I'd say its far from conclusive and may go to the wire with only one goal in it. Its time for something out of the ordinary to occur so either we lose against Ecuador or Germany lose to Sweden.

I'm trying to keep as detached as possible but I cant see England losing so...way to go Sweden.

Astrologically speaking (and some may greet this with some scepticism) I'm basing these on the moon moving to conjunct sun during the England game. Trouble is I usually look to the trine and sextile..is there a danger of moon going combusta on us.

Sweden have the moon in 7th as underdogs. Thats the good news and suggests a good start but again will it last. Its only a few degrees away from moving into the 8th,

Its 15 minutes prior to the match and noted that the fortunas antiscion trines moon exactly which is a strong indicator to the favourites and effectively cancels the benefit of moon in 7th out of things. Should be a good game though and thats all that matters!

Trying to keep a clean sheet so again trine moon/fortuna favours the favourites..fractionally England although I 'm not sure what non-english betters would have to say. Hmm..2-1.
