Hi guys,

This may seem a somewhat frivolous issue but I'll explain. I met a young man a few weeks ago and we exhanged mobile numbers, however, he did not respond to the text message I sent. I let it lie for a while but then got in touch with one of his friends, who gave me his email address. I promptly added him on MSN yesterday. This morning I noticed he was online but didn't send him a message, as I was waiting for him to get in touch with me, thereby showing that he does want to keep in touch. However, he went offline without contacting me. I can take a hint, but just thought I'd pull up a chart to confirm or contradict my gut reaction that he's not interested in maintaining contact. I also wondered if blocking someone on MSN would show in a chart

(MSN is a web chat service like Yahoo Messenger, AOl etc. If you block someone, they cannot see when you are online and so cannot contact you.)

Ascendant is 22 Libra.

The bit jumping out at me is the conjunction of Mars and Saturn, and the application of Venus to sextile Saturn... It's like Mars is hiding behind Saturn - a very good description of "blocking" me!

Venus in the 8th shows my lack of power over the situation... No reception beween her and Mars shows a lack of interest/inclination to get together (that goes for both of us!)...

Interestingly the Moon in Cancer likes Mars (trip) yet hates him at the same time (fall) - Sounds about right!

However, the Moon isn't VOC, and is applying to conjunct Mercury, ruler of his 3rd house... no contact or reception with Venus though, or Jupiter (my Lord 3).

Looks to me like I should just take the hint...

Any further/different thoughts would be appreciated

Don?t worry, after we have being in the horary forum for too long, all romantic horary seens a little frivolous . It is part of human nature, I guess...
About your chart... I don?t think he has Blocked you, and I am not sure if Saturn can be thinked as some kind of Wall, in which mars is hiding from you... if mars was hiding, he would be probably in a cadent house, mainly the 12th !

I do not like that "mars like or not" approach. Personally I think it makes more confusion than helping.

The important thing is that both mars and venus are peregrine, so both your actions are not productive and you are always missing eachother... venus would sextile mars, but Saturn is there to mess things up, and I don`t see colection or translation of light. Mercury angular conjunct moon is a n interesting thing. I would say that maybe he has just traveled, but maybe he has found other person, sorry if that is true.

Anyway I would advice to move on, because if the chart is right it was just not meant to be.

Thanks for your post. I know it's not meant to be, but I think we all have wishful thoughts sometimes! Interesting point about being peregrine. I think it's true to say that describes us both perfectly. I shall have a look at other charts in my archives to test this idea.
