As you are aware, i am new to horary but for the last 5 days, i have read and read to have some understandings. I have asked a question in this forum last week but after some comments made by Tom, i now agree that the chart can't be answered to early

However, in a french forum, i have found one question that I had asked but without success. So I decided to answer it myself and please do not be shy to provide your feedbacks or your critics

question "will I find my soulmate?"

Ascendant, his ruler and the moon is the querent
the 7 house, its ruler is the quesited

I am signified by mercure retrograde and in exil (pisces, in house cadente)
VI House seems showing that I do not feel to well in my skin

I have just left the sun (conjonction house 7) who also shows the quesited
i try to put some timing=> 8? 'orbe = 8 months hence july of last year I left my relationship or I ended my relationship

the moon also represent me and she is separating in sextile to saturne retrograde exil in Leo in XI house? support from my friends? but nothing came positif from it

the soulmate is representing by Lord 7 Jupiter retrograd in scorpio conjunction cuspide In house 3

I can see on the chart that the querent mercure retrograde short front of jupiter retrograde, the 2 significators have changed opinions, I left the relationship when maybe I wanted to give another change to my relationship at the beginning then he the quesited is coming back to me.

At one moment, mercure will become direct hence going to Jupiter (quesited) however there will be some obstacles to this meeting.

Yes mercure will meet mars by square, mars represent the man and occupies gemini sign, the house of mercury. there is 4? 'orbe between Mercury and Mars.

Additionally the moon who represent the querent will trigone venus (planet in V house), after 4? 'orbe

Finally mercure becomes direct at 13 degree of pisces, also 4? to its natal position

it seems that the quesited will need to make extremes efforts to save the couple but the querent will meet someone (mars) in 4 units (days, months, years?)
But as the meeting is in square, i do not think that the relation will be permanent. Mars can be a stranger as it is positioned in IX house

Another details jupiter opposition neptune (V house) there is an indication of deception on the part of the quesited (hence betrayal with someone else)

I always have trouble with this kind of question, as it assumes that there is only ONE person who is a 'soulmate', and therefore only ONE opportunity to find him/her, within, say, the next eight months of one's life. This is what I would call a 'loaded' question, meaning that there are all sorts of assumptions made about the answer, for instance:

There is only one person out there for you
You only have one chance to meet them
You and this 'soulmate' will: get married/live happily ever after/both be single at the same time

The one person I felt was my 'soulmate', for example, was:

1. married to someone else
2. had children with someone else
3. would not leave his children and chose to stay with his wife
4. is still married to her

So, what is the point in asking a question like 'Will I meet my soulmate?' when the answer may not be to your liking...?

Sorry, I probably sound very bitter and cynical, but I think horary practitioners need to be very careful with the questions they ask and answer!

I do agree with you archegirl, I do not think you sound bitter.... I have seen people who broke up marriages of decades to look for the "real soulmate", so we have to be careful when our dreams become just delusional...

I am not implying that this is your case zohra I actually didn?t have the time to cast the chart.

But I would have a little care with the words, as the world "soulmate" in brasilian culture imply, as archgirl said, a relationship that is everlasting, without conflict, and with eternal love, passion and sex drive, which is not, at least in my way of thinking, feasible to the human being.

I myself am with an soulmate in the sense of extremely closeness, but I really don?t how much that will last, but I treasure the moments very much, as I get stucked for a very loooooong time

you are right that the question seems ambiguous, and it was stated in french and seems difficult to translate it in english. I guess when I said a soulmate I ment someone that he and I will cherish. everyone can add an element of soulmate. I lived with my ex for 18 years and I tought he was one of them, but disappointment!!!!

but what did intrigue me was South node with the moon, does it show that my cast question was hidden another question hence my ex....

when i look the chart it perfectly matched my situation at this time.... Or I try to accommodate the story to me

In any case, having the South Node with the Moon is not a favourable aspect as many practitioners consider it a type of Malefic....

Hello, I had a time to look at the chart:
I do think you are looking too much at it... you are seeing thing AFTER mercury comes direct, trining venus, etc, and there are more proeminent things, meaning the partile applying trine between mercury and jupiter ! As they are the significators, the others are details.

The question is will the trine be enough to perfect ? Normally no, cause mercury is awfully weak ! The chart reminds you of how much you are wasting your energy in this issues, as you are retrograde (thinking in the past) in exile and in fall ! Thankfully mercury is in his terms, so he is not peregrine, but this gives him very little power, while the detriment makes him corrupt.

Jupiter is wandering peregrine and retrograde in a cadent house... despite the aspect being an applying partile trine, this Jupiter doesn?t have a lot to offer ! And he is not very willing to make any move !

I have others considerations like the signs being of equal power that don?t come around here, so I do think that you will find somebody (jupiter), probably an ex, but even do the aspect perfect, and I think the matter will be brought to perfection, because of reception mixed with colaboration of signs that see eachother, we have to think that an Jupiter peregrine will receive the virtue of a very corrupted mercury, or else, if this relationship come up, you have to ask if it is going to be for good or for bad, I think it can be for a real bad turn.

I know you asked for a "soulmate", not for a fling or a drugaddict
but the horary chart doesn?t always answer to what our mouth asks...

But remind it is just an opinion ! The moon is translating light from mercury (and jupiter) to the sun, and jupiter is fortuna ruler, so these things may mitigate the affliction we just talked about it !
