This week we have Cleveland at San Francisco on Monday night.

San Francisco is the 1st. Pisces and Jupiter. Cleveland is the 9th. Scorpio and Mars.

Jupiter is conjunct the 10th cusp and exalted by sign and terms.
Mars is in it's detriment in Libra and in the 7th.

Jupiter conjunct the 10th cusp is very favorable for the home team.

San Francisco should win here.

In another game Vanderbilt should beat Mississippi.

This week we have a conundrum with the NY Giants visiting New England on Thursday night.
Every now and then an astrologer finds a chart which goes against what common sense would dictate.
No one in their right mind would predict the Giants to beat New England.
But, that's not what the chart says.

New England is the 1st. Gemini and Mercury. The Giants are the 9th. Capricorn and Saturn.

Mercury is exalted by triplicity in the 6th. It is also in the Via Combusta and it is intercepted in Scorpio.

Saturn is exalted by sign and terms in the 8th. which puts it in it's own 12th making it it's own enemy.

Mercury being intercepted is a very disadvantaged placement. Even the Giants significator in the 8th. is not as bad.

As unbelievable as this may be the chart tells me that somehow, the Giants will win this game.

In another game Syracuse should win over NC State.

I don't agree about the Giants winning, but at the moment I don't have time to do the charts using my own methods, which are quite different from yours. I've been working on SA since about 2007 and have developed a suite of methods, and two of them clearly show the Giants will loose. Haven't looked at the others. Perhaps I can post something later, if I get the time.

For the moment, you might find it interesting to do the chart for the Dodgers loss to the Nats last night. A very interesting chart, and one which I got wrong. Game time was 5:37 PDT.

I know this is baseball, but the principles are the same. I use my methods on all the sports, and there is no difference that I can see.

How refreshing that there is someone doing American sports! I am sick up to here of nothing but soccer! That's the reason I've never posted anything about what I am doing. Didn't think anyone would read it.

BTW, we're almost neighbors: I'm in the Victorville area.

Both of my predictions were wrong.
The Patriots dominated the second half and won 35-14
NC State outlasted Syracuse 16-10

In both games the ruler of the 1st was in Via Combusta and I've always been bothered about what to do with planets in the Via Combusta.

I think a good rule of thumb may be to disregard any planets so positioned and switch to the co-rulers.

The natural co-ruler of the 1st is the Moon. The Moon in the 11th. was a much more favorable indicator and would have resulted in a correct prediction for both games.

But, I do hate making predictions after the games have been played.

This week we have several very difficult games but UCLA at Stanford is the best I can find.

Stanford is the 1st Aries and Mars. UCLA is the 9th. Sagittarius and Jupiter.

Mars is exalted by mutual reception by sign, triplicity, and face.
Jupiter is exalted by sign and mutual reception by terms. Jupiter is in it's own house, the 9th.

When a significator is in mutual reception that usually means that it can get itself out of any trouble it gets into. I think Stanford will stage some comebacks and the lead will change several times.

Jupiter in it's own house tells me that UCLA will win out in the end.

In other games:
Denver will benefit from mutual reception and win over Kansas City.
In the Philadelphia / Dallas game the home team should win. However, Dallas will be wearing their " visiting " white jerseys. That means i'm picking Philadelphia to win.

Last week UCLA easily beat Stanford 34-16.
Kansas City beat Denver 30-6.
Dallas handled the Philadelphia 37-10. The home team won but it wasn't the home team I was looking for. You can get fooled by jersey colors, especially whine it comes to Dallas.



This week the only game I can find that's worthwhile is USC at Colorado.

Colorado is the 1st. Taurus and Venus.
USC is the 9th. Capricorn and Saturn.

Venus is exalted by mutual reception with Mars by sign and by face.
Saturn is exalted in it's own house by sign and through mutual reception by terms and face.

Venus is not in the Via Combusta but it is in its detriment in Scorpio.

The away teams significator in its own house is the better indicator.

USC should win here.

Last week USC come from behind on a last minute pass to beat Colorado 35-31.



This is a very difficult week. There are no games that are very clear.

I'm going to try New England at Baltimore.

Baltimore is the 1st. Cancer and the Moon. New England is the 9th. Aquarius and Saturn.

The Moon is peregrine in the 8th. house.
Saturn is exalted by sign and terms in the 7th.

A peregrine Moon isn't necessarily bad but it tends to be unpredictable. Traditionally a peregrine planet is seen like a thief. I think something unusual will happen in this game and Baltimore will come out on top.

Baltimore should win here.

In other games:
The Giants will beat Dallas.
Utah St. will beat BYU.
