Sorry for asking such a strange question, but I was trying to read a chart today( a he loves me,he loves me not type chart) and all I could focus on was the kite formation in the middle of the chart.

Does this type of thing mean anything in horary?

In horary the formations are only as good as their applications and separations; remember a horary is usually a chart of movement rather than stasis (as a natal chart might be); and in horary a kite formation would only be counted if all four planets were actual significators of the houses involved. Outer planets would only be used for secondary considerations...

Sometimes it is better to turn this feature off in your software because it can be very distracting. These sorts of formations are not really relevant in the chart. We tend to be quite reliant on the lines to tell us whether we have a square, sextile, etc. but it is good to get into the habit of being able to recognise these aspects without the lines.This is very easy to do if you know the way the signs relate to each other. For example, taking into account the orbs one uses, planets in Capricorn will be opposite planets in Cancer, planets in Pisces will be trine planets in Cancer and Scorpio, planets in Aries will be square planets in Capricorn and Cancer, etc. It is very easy when you get the hang of it and you are then not distracted by all the lines over the chart.
