synastry with horary chart

1
I'd like to ask for some input on such apocryphal techniques as the synastry between the horary chart and the querent's natal chart.
Used to analyze transits to my natal chart I usually notice right away when elements in the horary chart are connected with sensitive points from my natal chart (when I'm also the querent).

Also, I've seen quite many horary astrologers consider the ASC of the horary chart conjunct the querent's natal Sun as a sign of "radicality".

For instance, the Part of Fortune seems to be somehow relevant when conjunct planets from the natal chart, indicating luck in the matter. I recently had a question where the POF was conjunct my natal Sun and the end result was the one that I hoped for.

Do forum members think that horaries act as virtual events and therefore the synastric connection to the querent's or even astrologer's natal chart is considered relevant?

Thanks.

Natal charts are unnecessary to answer horary questions. However it is not surprising that now and again transits to the natal chart will echo the horary question. For example if the querent asks a question concerning his or her career, it would not be terribly surprising to find that the MC is being transited at the time of the question. It is not a necessary condition for a correct horary judgment.

Thanks for your reply, Tom. I know that the connections with the natal chart are not required for a correct reading, yet it's interesting to explore this path, and as a Virgo I like to complicate things, check all kinds of tidbits which might offer the smallest extra insight on the matter. Also, it's kind of relieving to receive confirmation of one's judgement from as many sources as possible.
