What was I supposed to learn from this relationship? 1 by Moondance7 I've been learning pretty well, but am at a loss as to interpretation of this kind of question, particularly what house rules it. The 7th for the type of relationship, or the 9th for higher learning? Another house entirely? Any suggestions appreciated, but please explain any turning quite graphically. Using the 7th, I would say basically how to love, looking at Jupiter's aspects to venus. But it's still puzzling. Question asked at 9:34 am, 7/27/06, Lockport New York, 43n10,78w41. Thanks. 2 by kerenhappuch My reponse would be that this question is too psychologically based to be answered with a horary chart. Looking at the client's transits and progressions would be a much more helpful way of sussing out what she's "meant to have learned", i.e. what major changes and life lessons she's going through. If you're not in the market for an extensive natal chart analysis, I'd suggest you point your querent in the direction of a good Tarot reader, one whom you know can give her the psychological interpretation she's after. And failing all that, maybe just go to a counsellor and discuss her experience directly Hope this helps. Keren Quote Thu Jul 27, 2006 4:23 pm
by Moondance7 Thanks, Keren, I see the problem and that is why I was having trouble. Can you think of a way to rephrase the question workably? The question is from me, and it was a life affecting relationship so I would like to explore it more thoroughly. I don't think my natal would help, as I have done that. Quote Thu Jul 27, 2006 5:05 pm
by granny_skot Actually, I disagree with Karen, this is a much better question than many that I've heard. If you look at Mercury and Jupiter, you see that Mercury has moved on into the house of friendship. Jupiter appears to have something lovely going on with someone else and isprobably oblivious to Mercury. The Moon at 0 Virgo has just changed signs, there has been change here, this person has learned something valuable. While Mercury appears to yearn to go back to a harmonious relationship with Jupiter, Mercury turns direct before doing so, and the Moon looks to be about to join with Mars, NOTE how mercury and moon are in mutual reception, this person is learning to love themselves better, which makes them a better potential mate. I'm not certain if Mars represents a person whome the moon is joining, or an emotional argument , but it is the connection to the mars, which I think decides the end of this relationship. Jupiter is the person who you loved, and Jupiter seems to be in a happy love relationship that has some unpredictable uranian aspects. Is there a mars person in your romantic perview or is that likely ot be a blow up? okay my two bits. Granny Quote Thu Jul 27, 2006 6:57 pm
by Moondance7 Thanks for your input, Granny. No, no Mars person, alas. The only Mars person I know is the quesited who is a Virgo with Mars in Cancer rising, and as you can see, the relationship is over. Moon and Mars in the horary chart are conjunct my natal ascendant. Maybe I'll blow up ay somebody! Thanks again. Quote Thu Jul 27, 2006 8:19 pm
by granny_skot well, I was thinking it would be an emotional outburst, but wanted to verify. There is always the off chance it is a person. thanks for asking such an enlightened question. Granny Quote Fri Jul 28, 2006 9:05 pm
by Moondance7 Y'know, Granny, I was just reading your remarks and looked at the chart again. Isn't Uranus "collectung the light" between mercury and venus? Or am I misunderstanding the term? BTW, thanks for saying nice things about my question. Though not a very spiritual person, like humankind in general I try to find meaning and patterns in life, and some relationships just make you wonder "What was that all about/" Quote Fri Jul 28, 2006 10:31 pm
by granny_skot As I understand it, you could use uranus in that manner I suppose, but since that isn't one of my strong suits, I haven't applied the collection of light principle much. Also, if you want to add in collection of light by uranus, wouldn't you be seeing some serious chaos? Granny Quote Tue Aug 01, 2006 7:55 pm
by Moondance7 Actually, I'm just delighted I identified something in the chart! After a couple months of trying to comprehend the rules, maybe it's beginning to take. Uranus isn't traditional, I know, but since I'm strongly Uranian natally, it might indicate something. I am not experiencing any, but it's possible the other person is because of an incipient 2nd Saturn return and some Neptune and Chiron squares. Thanks for your interest and insight.
