Michael, it is highly likely that the other trans-Neptune dwarf planets will have interpretive value. I'd withhold judgement until the research (vs. conjecture) has been done.

If you haven't read Henry Seltzer's book on Eris, I'd recommend it. He did a lot of research. Meanwhile I'm enjoying watching the women warriors competing in the Winter Olympics

I think Sedna has real meaning, but with its 11,400 year orbital period, it probably relates to major earth processes, vs. day-to-day human issues. 11,400 years ago correlates to the end of the last Ice Age. There was a really active thread on Sedna at Astrodienst recently, that dealt more with psychological interpretations.
