by Ouranos Alex Thanks for making a prediction in your last post 'Handicapping the Oscars'. Looking forward to a post-mortem and if this signals the end of your career as a blogger! Blessings! Quote Thu Feb 24, 2022 1:12 am
by annadeer Alex, I'm just happy to have someone to exchange ideas with and get feedback from. And I don't know anything about the procedure/time lapse for Charles or William to get crowned should the queen pass away or abdicate, so thanks for educating me I just saw there's an asteroid Thronium, which might be of use for 'throne'. Note that basileus is ancient Greek, but the modern Greek word for King is basilea(s) -- so that's a literal match (even if it refers to BAsel). Anyway, if I have time I may throw a glance at the charts of some other Kings, to see what shows up. Will report. & bravo for the Oscar predictions -- i don't have the patience/motivation/time for it Quote Thu Feb 24, 2022 5:24 am
by annadeer Checked the following asteroids for their relevance in the charts of six kings. Turns out that the more significant/ capable/ popular the king, the more of them show up. Mostly conjunctions and oppositions -- some sextiles and trines. I did not use other aspects. thronium, königstuhle (for throne - Latin and German) kron, krohn (for crown - German) king, basilea (Greek), könig (German) King Bhumibol of Thailand Natal: Basilea c Asc - Krohn c South Node and Sun - King c Mercury - Thronium opp Sun - Konig sextile Asc - Konigstuhl c Lord of Asc LR coronation: POF c LR Asc c natal North Node - LR Krohn c LR NN - LR Thronium c LR Sun and Moon - LR Kron c LR Saturn (he was one of the longest reigning monarchs ever) TR Coronation: Jupiter over natal Konig King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands Natal: King c NN, Kron c MC, Krohn c Basilea trine Sun - Konigstuhl & Konig c Lord of Asc Coronation LR: Krohn c Thronium c Vertex Coronation transits: Basilea c Lord of Asc - King c natal Saturn - Sun c natal King SR the year his coronation was announced: SR Basilea c SR Jupiter c SR Willem — SR Thronium c SR MC Coronation SR: Kron c POF LR when his coronation was announced: LR Basilea conj POF — TR Kron c natal Alexander - TR Alexander c natal King King Baudouin of Belgium: Natal: King c Jup c Desc, Basilea c SN and Venus, Krohn c Sun, Konig c Venus Coronation: transiting Krohn and Sun c natal Lord of 10 King Carl Gustav of Sweden Natal: Konig c POF - thronium c South Node trine Asc - King c Kron widely c Jup opp Moon - SR Coronation: King c Vertex, thronium c Moon LR coronation: Krohn c Sun Transits coronation: Basilea c natal Jupiter trine natal NN - TR SN c natal Basilea Kings with less impressive or less popular personalities have less showing up: In controversial Thai King Vajiralongkorn’s chart all I see is natal King retrograde sextile Asc In Belgian King Albert’s chart all I see is King c Uranus (co-ruler of Asc) and thronium opp Sun (didn’t check their coronation dates) Quote Sat Feb 26, 2022 5:29 am
by alex miller Anna, I'm not sure you have a subset here large enough to characterize your results as you have. You might want to look at historic monarchs before you decide the effect of these points on things such as popularity or success. But thank you for several new markers I was unaware of before. You can also add Roy (Old French for king), Rey (Spanish for king), Regina (Latin for Queen) and Queen's. The latter two can be used interchangeably for either gender. There's also Prinz (German for prince) and Duke, in that general area. And I have found that Koronis, in addition to a coronavirus referent, works for 'corona', Latin for crown. 246 by alex miller Just squeaking in at the tail end of Black History Month in the US, I did a piece on Rosa Parks, whose refusal to give up her bus seat on the Cleveland Avenue route in Montgomery, AL and subsequent arrest, sparked the Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1955, one of the earliest Civil Rights mass protests. Rosa Parks was born with a t-square of asteroid Bus opposed asteroid Montgomery, with asteroid Cleveland at the fulcrum. When arrested, Bus was in an exact Grand Trine with Rosa and the Ascendant, a Kite formed by Pluto's opposition to Rosa. When she died, Bus was stationary, in a Grand Cross with asteroids Rosa, Parks and McCauley (her maiden surname). She also had Parks at station in her birth chart and McCauley at station for her arrest. With both these standing still, plus Bus stationary at death, that's pretty funny, in light of her refusal to budge! Quote Sat Feb 26, 2022 1:19 pm

by Ouranos Alex In your blog on the Oscars, you said... "Best Actor looks like a lock for Will Smith ("King Richard"), who hopes to earn his first golden statuette. Born Willard Smith, he's the most tapped-in nominee, with asteroid Wil conjunct Oskar and the Sun, opposed by Willaert and T-squared by asteroid Smith." Smith won but little did we know that he would steal the show! Lots of Aries tones in this ceremony. Mercury ruling the Virgo rising in Aries and the Moon in Aquarius applying by conjunction to Mars. I also note the best movie CODA (Child Of Deaf Adults) 1) Coda is a latin name for penis 2) In music, it is a concluding musical section that is formally distinct from the main structure. Seems to define Aries as 'I am' 3) An English-language remake of the film 'La Famille Bélier' (The Family Aries) in France. Best to you, Ouranos Blessings! Quote Mon Mar 28, 2022 10:20 pm
by alex miller thanks, Ouranos! and thanks even more for not mentioning the three predictions I got wrong. Deets on Smith's win, vis-a-vis asteroids in his natal chart: He has Oskar conjunct Saturn, ruling career, semisquare Willaert/Ascendant. Saturn likes to delay success until we've put in our dues, and this was Smith's third nomination. Of course, it also likes to withhold and deny, and the Academy is investigating his assault, could possibly revoke the award. His winning role was Richard Williams; asteroid Richard exactly conjoins asteroid Smith, trined Nike (victory); asteroid Williams opposes Oskar/Saturn. The smackdown of Chris Rock can be seen in asteroid Christophe conjunct both Toro, noted for bullying, aggressive and violent behaviors, and Mercury, ruling the comments that provoked the assault, and the hand that delivered it. 250 by Michael Sternbach alex miller wrote:So, Anna, a couple things. First, it's important to be precise about meanings with asteroids. While it's true that asteroids will resonate to similar-sounding or -spelled terms, we need to be careful about assumptions. Basilea 2033 is actually named for Basel, Switzerland; though it is similar enough to Greek Basileus ("monarch") to probably work as a marker of royalty. Also, the city's name may have been derived from ancient Greek and mean as much as "the Queen." Amongst others, Pope Pius II mentioned this. The following old depiction of Basel's coat of arms seems to support this interpretation as well. There are alternative views to be sure, however, based on my personal knowledge of this great city, I am inclined to agree to the aforesaid. Note that "Basilea" was the name of the first queen of Atlantis according to ancient Greek folk tradition. Similarly, Krohn 10469 is Middle High German for Crane, not Crown (which is Kron, without the 'h'), and is in usage currently as a nickname for a tall, thin person with long legs (modern German Crane is Kran), as well as a surname; to wit, the asteroid was named for Katrin Krohn, a researcher at the German Aerospace Center. Again, close enough for asteroid jazz, and I use these sorts of sideways connections all the time, but it should be noted. That said, the connections you found in Charles and William's charts are interesting. Astrologers have said for decades that Charles will never be King, but I don't know what that's based on. One more caveat - Charles may succeed to the throne in March, but he will certainly not be crowned then. That'll take at least a year, in most cases. But Jupiter/Krohn on Basilea could indicate inheriting the crown, just not a coronation per se. Sorry to be so precise, but you did ask what I thought! btw, Camilla has King/NOT natally, as well as Regina/Nemesis and Queen's/Lacrimosa. Doesn't sound like she'd be a happy consort. _________________ Visit my blog: https://michaelsternbach.wordpress.com/ Quote Tue Mar 29, 2022 4:25 pm
by waybread I just noticed that asteroid Lucifer sits on Vladimir Putin's sun-Saturn conjunction. (I use the October 7, 1952 birth date-- this works out with both the Astrodienst 9:30 am birth time and the Isaac Starkman rectification of 9:35 am) https://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Putin,_Vladimir I've worked with this chart a fair bit. It is rated Rodden DD but I think it is accurate. For one thing, it is the birth data given by Tass, the official Russian new agency. https://tass.com/society/969438 https://tass.com/politics/1346501?utm_s ... =organic&a mp;utm_c Putin's ex-wife is named Lyudmila. Asteroid Ludmilla closely conjuncts Putin's ascendant. Quote Sun Apr 10, 2022 1:44 am
by alex miller cool! I never think to look for Lucifer, not into Christian mythology, but it does seem to fit Putin! After seeing the awful images from Bucha, I went to check for an asteroid match, and found Buchar. It is stationary in Putin's chart, always a sign of outsized importance in the character or biography. It's in a T-Square opposing Russia/Ukraina/Washingtonia, squared Kiev/Volodymyr/Donbass, and was hit by the Lunar Eclipse in November (and the upcoming LE in May). It was with the Sun when the invasion began, and with Neptune (photography) when the images of the slaughter there were released. So, yeah, I'd say it works. Quote Sun Apr 10, 2022 12:24 pm
