2022 French Presidential Election 1 by linchi 2022 French Presidential Election The first round of the 2022 French presidential election was held on 10 April 2022. A run-off will be held between the top two candidates on 24 April 2022. The incumbent president of France, Emmanuel Macron of La République En Marche! (LREM), who won the 2017 presidential election and whose first term lasts until 13 May 2022, announced on 3 March 2022 that he was launching his re-election bid to a second five-year term for which he is eligible under the Constitution of France. His opponent in the second round will be Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Rally (RN), whom he defeated in 2017. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Fren ... l_election Macron will win this election. 2 by carriere.francois Hello, I agree, he stay president. In indian astrology, his 1st House dasamsa is reactivated as in 2017. So, the chances he wins are strong. Regards, François CARRIÈRE Quote Mon Apr 11, 2022 8:28 pm

4 by Therese Hamilton I don’t know much about French politics, so I only know that Emmanuel Macron has recently been saying that his victory is not assured. Macron has been in Rahu dasa since June of 2009. This long Dasa runs until June of 2027. Macron was elected under Rahu/Saturn and is currently running Rahu/Venus. As Venus is a yogakaraka, planet of good fortune for his Capricorn ascendant, it seems a sure bet that he will continue as president of France after the April 24 election. (Cusp lines are the centers of houses.) Macron’s rise to power is due to Rahu in his 9th house as well as the Moon. It’s not obvious from his natal chart that his navamsa Moon at 9 Libra is only a few degrees from his 10th house zenith (NG) point at 5 Lib 21 (Krishnamurti ayanamsa). All important natal Rahu is also in the Moon’s star (mansion or nakshatra). It’s interesting to compare Macron’s winning ennead (40 day) chart in 2017 when he won the election and became president of France with his ennead chart that covers April 24 of this year. It’s a KP dictum that transits must agree with the lords of dasas and sub periods (bhuktis) for an event to occur. Any planet transiting the star or sub of Rahu will activate natal Rahu. Saturn is important for the 2017 election as Macron was in Saturn bhukti under Rahu at that time. Any planet transiting Saturn’s star or KP sub will activate Saturn. When Macron won the 2017 election and a few days later became president of France, transiting Rahu was conjunct the MC and conjunct natal Saturn in his April 19 ennead. Both transiting Rahu and natal Saturn are in the sub of Rahu. Tr Saturn was conjunct natal Sun and Mercury. Tr Mars above ennead cusp 7 is at the radix IC is in the sub of Saturn. Tr Rahu at the MC cojoins natal Saturn. Tr Jupiter trine ennead Nadir conjoins natal Rahu. The Moon is important in two ways: Radix Moon is angular on the 7th cusp, and ennead Moon in its own star conjoins the natal ascendant. So in the ennead we have a complete transit picture supporting Macron’s win in April of 2017. Next to look at Macron’s 24 April 2022 ennead which checks in on April 20 at 4:11:18 AM CET at Amiens, France. (We always use birth place location for these charts.) We have to look again for Dasa lord Rahu emphasis as well as Venus since Venus bhukti (sub period) is in effect. Rahu Mars on the ascendant is in Rahu star. Natal Saturn on cusp 7 is in Rahu sub. Ennead Uranus conjunct natal Moon is in Rahu sub. Jupiter trine the NG is in Rahu sub. Transiting Rahu is in its own sub. Venus Ennead Moon at the MC is in Venus sub. Ennead MC conjoins natal Venus. Ennead Uranus and Mercury conjunct natal Moon are in a Venus star along with natal Moon. Ennead Venus is partile square ennead Moon in Venus sub at the MC. As in Macron’s 2017 ennead, the Moon is prominent in this chart as it conjoins the MC, and ennead Ur/Me/Rahu conjoin natal Moon. So all conditions are present to activate both natal Rahu and Venus for Macron’s April 24 election date. (Though I am still experimenting with KP techniques.) KP gives a very different view of cyclic charts as judgement is based primarily on star lords rather than (for example) zodiacal rulership of houses. Krishnamurti zodiac sub degrees are available in several web locations. http://www.snowcrest.net/sunrise/LostZodiac.htm Quote Thu Apr 21, 2022 8:06 pm
5 by Radu Canahai According to Indian astrology, Macron (Capricorn ascendant) have some chances to remain president, especially because his opponent's natal chart is, right now, in a poorer condition. His Rahu/Venus vimshottari dashaantardasha, where Rahu is the ruler of fifth house, is not very fortunate configured - Venus have an 3/4 aspect from Saturn and a 3/4 aspect from the Moon - except if we consider a reversed 3/4 aspect from the retrograde Jupiter. In the other way, LePen (Virgo ascendant) is under Rahu/Mercury vimshottari dashaantardasha, where Rahu rules over sixth house and Mercury is associated with two malefics - Mars and Sun - receiving 3/4 aspects from Saturn and Moon, which seems to indicate not only that she will lose to her enemies, but also a somewhat durable conflict with authorities. As a conclusion, a tight enough victory for Macron seems to be the correct prediction. Quote Fri Apr 22, 2022 10:50 am
6 by carriere.francois Hello Therese, Sorry, I wasn't on the forum for some time. I'll just post Macron's dasama and just examine the Ascendant of that chart. Dasas are those of Rahu, Venus, Rahu, Saturn (which is yogakaraka for Libra ASC). Best regards. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ijqp6v ... sp=sharing Regards, François CARRIÈRE Quote Sat Apr 23, 2022 4:05 pm

How do you get Rahu as ruling houses when the planetary lords of signs of the zodiac have traditionally ruled the 12 houses of the chart? http://www.snowcrest.net/sunrise/LostZodiac.htm Quote Sun Apr 24, 2022 5:27 pm

Dasas are those of Rahu, Venus, Rahu, Saturn (which is yogakaraka for Libra ASC). François, thanks for posting the damsasa (career) chart. For the benefit of readers (and if I'm understanding you correctly), the dasamsa chart is activated due to Rahu (current dasa and antara 3rd period lord) and Saturn (4h period lord) both located in the dasamsa Libra ascendant? Then in 2017 when Macron was first elected as president, Rahu dasa and Saturn (2nd period lord) bhukti were running. It's interesting that the Moon (also in the Dasamsa Libra ascendant) played an important rule in 2017 and in the current election as well. Natal Rahu is in the Moon's star (nakshatra), so according to KP Rahu will bring results of the Moon. The dasamsa then is an important clue as to why the Moon holds an important position in cyclic charts in Macron's election years. (I haven't researched the Dasamsa chart myself.) http://www.snowcrest.net/sunrise/LostZodiac.htm Quote Sun Apr 24, 2022 6:57 pm

(I haven't researched the Dasamsa chart myself.) Hi Therese: Just thought you might want to see the difference in Macron's D10 (Dashamsa) chart in Krishnamurti versus Lahiri ayanamsas. The chart on the left is Krishnamurti ayanamsa. The chart on the right is per Lahiri ayanamsa. (mean lunar nodes; data ADB) ~AJ Quote Mon Apr 25, 2022 1:39 pm
10 by Therese Hamilton Thanks, AJ. So the (approximate) six minute difference between the Lahiri and Krishnamurti ayanamsas moves the Moon out of the Dasamsa ascendant sign into the second house per Krishnamurti. Two thoughts: 1) The KP principle that applies to radix charts (events occur according to the mansion/nakshatra lord of a dasa/sub period planet) may have no application in divisional charts such as the dasamsa. 2) At the time of the election Macron wasn't running a Moon period down to the fourth level, so there would be no relationship to the Moon in the Dasamsa ascendant (Lahiri) that relates to his career. Noting planetary sign/house placements for events in divisional charts in relation to Dasas and sub-periods (timing) can be a very useful way of fine tuning the ayanamsa. PS: I haven't done the calculations, but the ruling planets of the 3rd (antara) and 4th periods may be different using the KP ayanamsa than those François posted for Lahiri (Rahu/Ve/Ra/Sa). Venus bhukti (2nd period) lord is strong in both Lahiri and KM charts in the 7th dasamsa house. http://www.snowcrest.net/sunrise/LostZodiac.htm Quote Mon Apr 25, 2022 4:58 pm

I'm not a KP practitioner myself but the few I know don't use vargas, they feel the Vimshottari subs to any level make them superfluous. Let me clarify that just a bit, there is one that does use the exact navamsa positions at least to highlight any close configurations with natal positions emphasizing their importance in the horoscope. It is a technique that I found has merit. Venus bhukti (2nd period) lord is strong in both Lahiri and KM charts in the 7th dasamsa house. The 4th level changes... For your information: Macron's Krishnamurti ayanamsa VD for April 3rd through April 26th '22 are: RA/Ve/Ra/Me. 12 by james_m fwiw you will also get a different rahu position if you use true, verses mean node... it changes into scorpio with use of true node in the D10 chart - all lahiri.. using parallax moon, i can get moon in libra in the D10 chart with kp as well... obviously, the devil is in the details... so many choices and not enough time to research it all in a convincing way.. one other minor detail... it may appear to change if the 1040 am time is not exact as well.
