For those interested in medieval astrology, there is a valuable and yet free resource – or rather, two – which seems to have been around for a while but of which I for one have been ignorant. For some reason the Skyscript system won't accept the links, but searching for the phrases "Arabic and Latin Corpus" and "Arabic and Latin Glossary" will take you there.

The Corpus itself contains only Latin and Arabic texts, no modern translations,* so it is admittedly a bit on the academic side, but the mere fact of the texts being there, in legible and searchable form, is wonderful; and the Glossary really is a boon.

* On the other hand, Google Translate does do both Latin and Arabic. It is far from perfect, but will at least give one a rough idea of what a text is saying (and sometimes a good laugh). Here is an example from Abū Maʿshar's shorter introduction to astrology (Ysagoga minor in Latin):

Erit ergo stellarum felicitas si benivola benivolam vel ab exagono vel tetragono vel trigono vel adunatione respiciat, nec a malivolis respiciantur; a benivola etiam ad benivolam tendere, inter duas felicitates bene collocatam; set etiam si fuerint benivole in eodem gradu vel dakaica; necnon si Solem ab exagono vel trigono respiciant; set etiam motus celer et lucis augmentum; esse etiam in loco in quo vel dignitate fruantur aliqua vel gaudio; set etiam in gradibus lucidis vel locis sexui aptis.

There will be happiness for the stars if the benevolent aspect of the benevolent aspect is either from a hexagon or a tetragon or a trigon or a union, and they are not aspected by malefics; to tend even from the benevolence to the benevolence, well placed between the two felicities; set even if they were willingly on the same level or dakaic; and also if they look at the Sun from a hexagon or a triangle; there is also a quick movement and an increase of light; to be also in a place in which they enjoy either dignity or joy; set even in bright steps or areas suitable for sex.
