Current socio-economic cycle JU/SA

This new socio-economic cycle for the next 20 years happened in the midpoint UR/PL (Mutations, changes and transformations which start suddenly or with a shock. Surprising, unexpected turnaround or development. Inventions or changes in the field of technology).
Also in opposition to Vulcanus (Greatest strength. Force. Power. Supreme violence. Armories).
JU-SA-VU=UR/PL Explosive change starts suddenly. Mighty jumps ahead.

We need to keep an eye on the UR/PL midpoint at 15 Pisces very near to what Ray Merriman likes to call 'a super-charged degree' because this is where the conjunction of the 2 planets took place in 1965-1966 in Virgo opposite to the midpoint.
Jessica Davidson calls the Uranus/Pluto cycle 'the cycle of Revolution and Freedom'. A very good way to look at it.
Our current JU/SA cycle is intertwined with a much larger cycle.

We associate this midpoint to marriage, new alliances and an hyperbole for blood relationship.
What we see developping are new alliances being formed between NATO and Russia-China-Iran on the other side.

1) It will be squaring Russia's Saturn in square to their MC and ruling the 7th House showing a decline of their associations with other totalitarian regimes (Chart of December 25, 1991 (flag up in Moscow)
2) The VE/MA conjunction of Feb 2024 in opposition to NE (conjunct SA) ruling the 7th House of Russia (Chart of the Russian Revolution Nov 8, 1917)
In both cases, a 7th House theme.

thanks for the post.. yes, those astro connections are interesting.. on a personal level i have been following them as my sun-moon midpoint is at zero aquarius tropical..

in regards the new alliances being formed, it think it is more that our world is going from a unipolar world to a multipolar world, but there is strong resistance on the part of the west as led by the usa, to accept this.. ever since the establishment of international institutions which came into being out of the camp bretton woods agreement - imf, world bank, bank of international settlements and etc. etc. - there was a handing over of power to the usa, from the previous imperialistic power - uk... when these institutions are no longer used for all of the planet, but instead used as a means of keeping others down, there is kick back..

but to keep it mostly astrological, i was pondering the nato chart just yesterday, because these new relationships must show up in some way in one of the 2 nato charts i have for use.. this one is the same one marjorie orr uses - aug 24, 1949, 1142am washington dc- sidereal is what i am using here -

as you can see, uranus and north node - rahu - are on the descendant in the transits to natos chart.. the eclipse cycle has also tied into this chart over the past year.. maybe there is more going on here, but i think it was relevant to your ideas and post here..

i stopped looking at the uranian hypothetical planets a long time ago, but thanks for the perspective.. there are always things we overlook, but we can't look at everything either..

there are small cycles and big or longer time frame cycles.... recent events on the world stage have been moving in a particular direction for a number of years, as opposed to having just popped up in the last year.. but it is in this moment that most people focus on, for good reason.. everyone will have a different viewpoint on history.. one saying is the winners get to write the history.. i am not sure how much truth their is in that.. it is kind of a disturbing thought actually..

a very important lever of power on the planet is money.. one of the first steps towards outright war is the use of financial sanctions.. it was interesting how one of the first results of imposing the emergencies act in canada was freezing people's bank accounts if they were suspected of being involved in the trucker convoy protest in ottawa... on an international scale, the usa has imposed financial sanctions on a number of countries that according to the usa aren't following the ''rules based international order''.. russia, iran, venezuala, north korea and probably some other countries i am forgetting have been subjected to this... there is nowhere where one can read about what these ''rules'' are in this rules based international order, or how it differs from international law.. at the same time these international institutions were set up to favour the usa... trading oil in us$ and etc. etc. is one obvious example of how this favours the us$ and provides an obvious leverage of power over other countries, especially those countries that don't bow down, or pay homage to it..

i think people need to consider a broader sweep of history...i also believe people need to be exposed to alternative viewpoints on what is happening in the world today.. if our local national media outlet - cbc - is any indication, it is about the furthest outlet away from providing this and ought to qualify for an award as a full fledged propaganda outlet, just going by its coverage of what is happening in the world today..

i am interested in mundane astrology.. i have lost a certain amount of faith in some of the exercises i used to do astrologically to try to understand events on the world stage... since making a fairly full conversion to using sidereal, i have also lost interest in the aries ingress charts and etc. etc.. maybe something will come along to resurrect my faith in the practice of mundane astrology, but at present it isn't strong... the connection to the nato chart and the 7th house transit of uranus - rahu - makes sense to me here..
