There is an Eclipse activated Pluto as well with the November
Fullmoon eclipse opposite Pluto in the WS 4th.

Lunar return for december have Natal PLuto angular.
And Lunar return Uranus on IC

(Now I am experimenting with Primary Directions. And it seems that
Directed Pluto is quite close to IC - Which should have a strong effect.

Janus software program with Ptomely key and Regiomontanus directions give aug 2023 for PL-180-MC (Placidus semiarc give a 2024 date)
As I understand it such directions can have a year of possible manifestation.

Whatever the time frame of that important direction Germany may be in for important changes in the country due to Plutonic transformation.

Kenneth Bowser and Regulus astrology seems to rate angular directions to be very important in national charts. I find the subject incredible interesting, but am inexperienced with Primary directions. So if some pros here, comments welcome.)

on my solar fire program i have about 8 charts for germany, so i am always conflicted about what is the best chart to use for a country when this happens and i see a proliferation of so many of them...

using the chart for germany you are looking at, i am able to generate a comparison chart on morinus with ptolemy primary key with placidus semi arc directions that says mundane pluto directed to ic for dec 2028... it doesn't look like it would take that long based on this comparison chart... i continue to be baffled by all the oppositions for primary directions.. maybe martin gansten can chime in here?

on the other hand i see the mundane and zodiac uranus conjoins pluto direct in dec 2015 according the primary direction software off morinus.. it appears as if pluto is in the process of conjoining uranus in the actual image the image below for dec 2022..

fwiw marjorie orr seems to favour the jan 1 1871 0 am chart for germany.. in this chart transit uranus is essentially conjunct pluto at this moment in time.. this is more confirmation of the major changes germany is going thru at this time and it also tags onto your initial commentary on the bringing together of these 2 outer planets - uranus and pluto, but using a different chart for germany - 1871 jan 1st 0 am.. inner wheel is 1871 chart.. outer wheel is transit chart.. sidereal...

The first statement has my full support. Merkel is deep inside a humanist (IMO her only virtue, though). Yes, peace and cooperation were her motifs.

The second statement is a personal conclusion. My conclusion is a different one: Merkel delivered INTENTIONALLY a veiled moral justification for Putin to start and CONTINUE the SMO until its published goals are reached. Both the Nazi character of the Ukrainian regime (much clearer now than 2015) and the fact that there is no peace with these people and their USUK/Quisling handlers, made her choose sides. Indirectly though, a typical Merkel hallmark. The world will discuss how right Putin was to choose the path he hesitated to go for years in spite of his military advantage. By going this way she does two good things: 1) Making more clear to the world who the real warmongers are (even if some say now she contributed). She makes Western escalation to WW3 more unjustified, hence less likely. And 2) she / her camp recommend themselves as something that may become useful once this war is over in 2 or 3 years. Even though the Russians ostentatiously utter reproaches in the current phase, chances are high that they don’t misunderstand her."

Primary direction for the Pluto IC direction. Is it Pluto’s erratic orbit that
is the reason ?
Seems like another direction of Pd Neptune opp Mars is active as well ?

thanks.. yes - neptune opposite mars - 2021 sept 21st according to the settings i am using on morinus software... i don't have an answer for you regarding why pluto takes as long as it does to oppose the midheaven..

i am at a loss as to which chart one would use for germany.. i would be curious if other german astrologers who visit skyscript would chime in...

Well I am not at this point sure which German chart is more correct in reflecting the events in the country now and in the past. Some day I might sit down and check the charts with events.
Such events in modern times could for example be the terror in december 2016 when at a christmas market there was great havoc.
Another event could be the deadly train accident many years ago which was one of the most deadly in German history.

However if say this 1990 chart is working. Then the Primary direction of Pluto to IC may reflect significant transformative trend in Germany in coming years ?

i think that no matter what chart one uses for germany, the signs are very clear that germany is going to undergo, and is undergoing a radical change and departure from the past here.. this would be in keeping with uranus-pluto connections whichever chart one uses between the 2 we have discussed here so far..

i think astrologers often start out with a premise and see if they can find the astrology to match the premise.. the most outstanding feature affecting germany economically is its reliance of energy whether it be from russia or the usa.. of course they are now reliant on usa energy at what appears to be about twice the price.. this works very well for the usa energy corporations, but not so much for germany..

it seems to me the new iron curtain is being built and put up by the west at this point.. regardless of how one feels about the justifications for this, it remains an obvious and relatively new development... the idea of our world moving from a unipolar to a multipolar world is always viewed as a threat to the country defined as the dominant country which at this time continues to be the usa.. the usa will process the threat to the best of its ability and those associated with its leadership and viewpoint will act accordingly in so far as they are able to... to me it seems germany is accommodating the usa's agenda here, but at great cost... it remains to be seen how it works out.. we will find the astrology to embody these greater geopolitical dynamics and i think we have to a certain extent in our look at these 2 charts for germany...

another chart you might like to take a look at is the chart for the bundesbank - july 26, 1957, 12pm berlin... because so much of what i believe is going on is driven by finances, i think it is an important chart to consider.. thanks for the exchange.. i don't expect others to accept my alternative views, but i think considering alternative viewpoints is essential in all matters, especially in a world today that is swamped in propaganda.. that is my take.. cheers...

Bear in mind too, that at Capricorn ingress, Mars is on the MC over Berlin and Moon opposite on the IC.
At the October eclipse the eclipse was on the MC and Mars the ruler, was on the 7th cusp. None of this is a good omen. Looks like the government attacks its own people(MC ruler in 7th) as in self-destruction and at the Ingress there are hints of opposition from the people and possibly an underground kind of opposition RAF style.

With reference to Marjorie Orr, i thought i would give some further information about the early constitutions being aligned to Sirius.

I'm not saying this is the chart to be used for modern Germany, but is likely electional astrology for 00:00 on 1st January 1871 in Berlin has Sirius culminating by paran.

The 16th April 1871 chart was Ratified using ancient Egyptian day marker being sunrise, where Sirius was on the Nadir at location:-

The is another constitution that started on 1st July 1867 aligned from midnight with Sirius on the Nadir, lnk and quote below:-
