Light, Love & the Snake’s Bite - How To Utilize Astrol

1
It’s been several years now of investigation (first as a student, now as a practitioner) on how to use astrology well. And—for some reason—the art form of astrology still tickles me! And I hope all of you, too.

If you don’t enjoy it/it doesn’t benefit you in obvious ways—-you probably aren’t a good match for this practice, eh?

Before I share my philosophy (which I’m hoping people will challenge/encourage me authentically about), I’m actually very grateful that Debra’s name appeared on Chris’s podcast (turns out, again) because I was able to end up right here…on this forum, with new bits to ponder and consider, and was happy to hear their previous discussion.

They are both so cool! I know I don’t have access to the inter workings of either of their minds, but I do have their birth charts to sit with! Made a video about those charts here:

So—-now my philology.

Light - Shine a light on what you see on a birth chart. Obviously Astrology can’t be proven to work scientifically, so all you can do is share your own light. As you are very likely not all-knowing, it is okay for it to be highly imperfect as long as you are holding true to trans-personal ideals (to the best of your limited ability).

Love - Take the person you are reading as if they are LITERALLY YOU (Teal Swan is a witch who talks about love like this, which is kinda akin to treating others the way you want to be treated)—-how would you want to be treated, even if the arrangement/placement is grim, for instance? Obviously our best attempt could fail to achieve a more harmonious union, but we can try to stay open to harmony…even if that means walking away entirely! Haha. Basically what I am saying is that we should try to give even the most dreadful aspects and positions the luxury of being called fantastic challenges—-be as creative, kind and loving as possible. PS: Fucking Master Yoda failed, too!

Snake’s Bite - At the very same time as the light and love, be also honest about what you have likely come to know about life’s sharper aspects. Maybe this is my Lilith in Sagittarius near the IC showing up, but I’m confident that a lot of people could benefit from a sincere/realistic respect for the poisonous, lethal, and reptilian aspects of the human experience. I don’t see how totally fluff and rose-colored glasses is going to help anyone. Even today I tried to teach 5th graders (I’m a substitute teacher) about how your word is important.

So that’s it! I’m grateful to be here. I want to become pregnant enough with clients/friends/family so I can truly make the most of this full time gig…existing on a planet falling around an explosive star with you all.

Thank you all for your time.

PS: The library just gave me access to Debra’s book—-I’ve already begun to consume it! My craving-mind just can’t get enough of this stuff—like I said—even after years!
