Will they take me on as an apprentice? 1 by Terry Hi all! Some brief context for my horary. A few years ago I studied with an astrologer I really admire. From that experience, I saw several areas I needed to grow in. So after taking some time to do some soul searching and self-directed study, I started feeling an urge to enter a more formal apprenticeship to refine what I've learned and move into the next phase of practice. So I cast the chart below asking "Will they take me on as an apprentice?" [/img] 13º Sagittarius rises. It is Saturn hour, Saturn participates in the fire triplicity so I judge the chart to be radical. L1 (querent) Jupiter dignified by triplicity in Aries, 4th house. L6 (apprenticeship) Venus in detriment in Aries but dignified by terms, 4th house Co-significator Moon dignified by domicile in Cancer, 7th house L9 (teacher) Sun peregrine in Pisces, 3rd house LoF conjunct the cusp of 9th house L1 Jupiter and L9 Sun are averse, however the Moon applies to trine the Sun showing a favorable connection. L1 Jupiter is in partile conjunction with L6 Venus, who is in detriment but has dignity by terms. I take this as a mixed condition leaning towards unfavorable conditions, or maybe the experience doesn't live up to the expectations. The time commitment could also lead to more friction with family since this is in the 4th house. My overall take is that while things may proceed well at first, they come to a hard or dissatisfying end. Any thoughts or things that I may have missed (ie. that angular Mars)? 2 by Wisdom Joy Hey- I would consider running that analysis from L10 as the apprenticeship since its impact and support your career. Thank you! WJ Quote Fri Mar 03, 2023 12:48 am

Would you mind elaborating on why L10 would be a better fit for the signification, please? I ask because apprenticeships typically aren't associated with honor/rank/status or at least that is a by-product further down the road. It's usually more service oriented toward the mentor in exchange for their guidance in refining your craft. I see a link between the 2 houses since they're part of the triangle of resources, daily work, and career. But I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around the 10th as more fitting for the apprenticeship. Quote Fri Mar 03, 2023 7:42 am
4 by Ouranos I would use the 9th House for higher learning. FOR conjunct the 9th ASC in Sagittarius SU L9 trine the MO in rulership in the 7th. SU L9 in the 3rd square MA in the 7th spells 'religious wars' or a clash in 'belief systems' at some point in time. The path may be too narrow for you where you may think that you are always relegated to the basics and lacking in getting the big picture. VE cj JU L1 (and natural ruler of higher learning) both Angular Overall positive factors. ------------------ ME L7 conjunct SA L2 - This does not come up with a free lunch. There is a long-term financial commitment expected as an apprentice or travel, documents, a tight schedule to fulfill required tasks. Just a quick evaluation of your chart. Don't take my words as granted. Good luck! Ouranos Blessings! Quote Fri Mar 03, 2023 3:06 pm
5 by johannes susato Significators: You, Jupiter, Lord of 1, and the Moon Your teacher, the educated astrologer, the Sun, Lord of 9. The applying trine between the Moon and the Sun is a strong Yes to your question, and particularly because of the mutual receptions of the main significaotors, the Sun being in the house, term and face of Jupiter, and Jupiter being in the exaltation and the face of the Sun. 6 by Wisdom Joy I actually thought that you wanted to pursue this as a career thats why I was suggesting the 10th house. Anything pertaining to a career, whether an appointment, or an actual job, or even internship I normally attribute to that house. Thank you! WJ Quote Sat Mar 04, 2023 10:50 pm
