I also don't see Biden making it health wise (or worse) to election day in 2024. I've posted notes on this, looking at the 40 day (ennead) 2023 charts and 2022-2023 solar returns on the sidereal forum. These charts are in the sidereal zodiac, but as I focus mainly on angular planets and the natal to SR planet relationships, the charts can be easily read from a tropical perspective.

Hi ... I was looking a Biden's chart again and I think that whether or not he has serious health problems during the lead up to the election there will be a lot of speculation that he does and this may cause him to lose; however, it looks as if his administration might win and Trump may well win the Presidency (although I sincerely hope not).

Just a warning, to calculate Primary Directions I
(1) calculate the radix with Placidus houses, tropical zodiac, true nodes
(2) subtract the age arc from the OA of the radix positions
(3) convert the result to zodiacal longitude using the birth latitude as the pole for Lots; the houses based on their poles (using Placidus pole formula), and the planets using their own poles
(4) the only aspects that count are partile aspects (conj, sextile, trine, sqr, opposition) between directed planets or from directed planets to radix positions

I've yet to find software that will do the same so it is unlikely the positions I give below will agree with those given in any astrology software and if you find they do, please, please let me know!

Biden's Natal Chart on Astro-Seek
2020 Election

When Biden won the 2020 Election he was 77 years old and in a 6th House Profected year (Taurus) with Venus as LoY.

His directed 3rd House cusp (profected 10th) was at 28 Scorpio conjunct his radix Venus (LoY) while directed Venus was at 27 Virgo sextile his radix Sun (status).

Directed Mercury, ruler of his radix 10th (career) and profected 5th (elections) was conjunct his radix MC (19 Virgo).

That his win was somewhat unexpected or not straight-forward was shown by directed Uranus (2 Aq) sextile the radix Asc (3 Sg) while the directed Asc (3 Ge) was trine radix Uranus in the profected 1st (2 Ge).

Upcoming 2024 Election

In 2024 Biden will be 81 years old at the time of the election, his profection will be in the 10th with Mercury acting as LoY. There are no directed aspects involving Mercury or the Asc, directed or radix. His directed MC (28 Ge) is inconjunct dir Uranus (28 Cp); the signs are equally ascending so the adversion is mitigated and likely to act as an opposition, with Uranus upsetting his hopes of a win.

There are, however, directions involving Neptune, a 10th (prof 1st) house planet. Directed Neptune (11 Cancer) is sextile his directed SAN (which Valens says has to do with the level of success in a persons life) and the directed Lot of Illness (Asc + Mars - Saturn) at 1 Gemini is in radix Neptune's trine. Neptune has to do with illusion, unclear situations, in Virgo it can be unclear situations around health; it opposes the profected 7th and certainly Trump supporters do harp on about Biden's age and health. Given these conditions I'm doubtful he will personally win.

At the same time, his Lot of Success (Asc + Jupiter - Fortune) is conjunct Venus (28 Scorpio) ruler of the radix 11th House (Biden's administration). The directed 3rd (prof 6th of employees) is at 25 Scorpio trine radix Jupiter in the profected 11th (administration) which, to me, indicates there's a chance his running mates may win out even if he doesn't.

Trump's chart doesn't look much stronger. He'll be 78 with his profection in the 7th, Saturn ruling.

His directed Lot of Kingship (MC + Moon - Sun) at 20 Virgo will be sextile directed Mars (20 Ge), ruler of his profected 10th (career).

His directed Lot of Honors (Asc + Sun - 9th Cusp) will be at 29 Leo conjunct his radix Asc.

And directed Saturn (LoY) at 24 Aries is square to his radix Saturn at 24 Cancer, in his radix 11th; an indication of his battles with his own administration.

Directed Neptune (26 Cancer) is trine directed Mercury (26 Pisces) with Mercury ruling his radix 10th, profected 4th (endings).

The directions are much weaker than those he had in 2016 but they may be enough to give him a personal win but possibly not enough to carry the GOP with him.

Anyway, it will most likely be another long, drawn out and muddy election, again.
