new free ebook and papers

I'm letting forum members know that a two-part book and two shorter introductory papers are available to read and download free of charge at two websites https://independent.academia.edu/GillZukovskis and https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Gi ... blications. They explore patterns shared between early worldviews (including myths and the I Ching or Yi Jing) and modern science.

The Shorter Version for General Readers (46 pages) might be the best place to start for those interested in affinities between astrology and other fields. (There’s also a separate concise guide aimed at Homeopaths.)

The full version has two separate pdfs, Life Unfolding in the Periodic Table, Traditional Tales, and the Yi Jing:
Part 1: Parallel Ancient and Modern Perspectives (456 pages)
Part 2: 64 Archetypes for Hexagrams and Elements (348 pages)

Although astrology itself is not the main focus, skywatching has a key underpinning role in ancient wisdom here. General connections to the stars are highlighted in the shorter guide on pp9-10 and pp40-41. An astral scheme is also suggested to explain the basic arrangement of hexagram pairs in the Book of Change(s). This comes on pp369-374 in Part 1 of the main book.

Further discussions of how particular constellations relate to myths and allied material are planned for future publication.
