nic campion has 2 charts for thailand that apparently the thai astrologrs use... they use sidereal in thailand, so these charts are in sidereal... the first one is for 1782 and has some interesting history around it, which you can read in campions book, if you have that..

according to campion both charts were most certainly a timed chart or an election chart based on what the astrologers of the time thought were fortuitous... i with hold commenting on these charts for the moment other then to comment on the fact both charts have a strong jupiter and a weak mars based off the sign position of these planets in both charts.. both charts have a mars close to the same position... both charts also have a prominent moon close to or on the midheaven... as well, both charts have a saturn in the 9th sign-house and the 9th house ruler in both charts is quite strong..

reading the bangkok post article and trying to figure out the rationale is interesting... it seems shiva is saturn and brahma is jupiter for anyone who wants to explore this more...

it appears this vedic astrologer is using midnight in the absence of a birth time for these people... but i could be wrong... i have used noon in the absence of a birth time.. i will just share his favourite pick and what he says astrologically.. it works getting jupiter in the 7th with a midnight chart for srettha thavisin...

2. Pro-military government parties only need 126 seats in the House of Representatives, combined with the military-appointed Senate, to elect a pro-military prime minister. In contrast, opposition parties need at least 376 seats to have a chance of overturning the election results.

3. In 2019, all senators unanimously voted for the then-military government leader Prayut. It is expected that the Senate votes this time will again all go to the pro-military government candidate.

4. This means that if the anti-military government bloc wants to win the prime minister position, one possibility is they must win 376 seats (over 75%) in the House of Representatives. Or the anti-military government bloc must strategically vote to be able to defeat the military government representative.

Hey James: Yes, this is interesting. Yet though, a lot of what the author/astrologer doesn't make sense in regard to the current configurations and there are other problems as well.

For PITA LIMJAROENRAT, the Move Forward Party's leader and PM candidate: Planet Shiva moved to his 9th house of luck while Planet Brahma, the lord of creation, is also in a very strong position, which has given him a very high chance of winning the election. Only Saturn is weak in his birth chart. It is in transit and currently in a state of debilitation, which could make it hard for him to win any major public event.

Without a birthtime you can't know what sign is the 9th house. Even if he is using Chandra or Surya Lagna charts this is not possible for Shiva to be in a 9th house, even accounting for the Moon changing signs. Natally Saturn is in Virgo, this is not necessarily a weak position.
He also states that transiting Shiva or Saturn is debilitated or neecha, this is not the case sidereally or in tropical. Saturn is in its MT sign of Aquarius.

A lot of problems here too. His natal Jupiter is not exalted or in transit; again how could you determine the house? Like Pita above even from the Chandra or Surya Lagna charts this is not possible. The whole Planet Kubera thing is confusing too. What planet takes 4 years to transit a sign? Maybe it's particular to Thai astrology as like a sort of upagraha or something, some asteroid? but sounds fishy to me.

I watched his YouTube video you linked too and clearly he has developed a system of his own that is a pastiche of Indian and Western methods including asteroids. He's not a native English speaker so his short lecture was a bit hard to understand.
I got to throw down the BS card here though, none of what he says even makes sense sidereally or in tropical. I think he's a charlatan.

" who is paying who to say what?? as i like to say often - bribery is legal in democracies.. its called 'lobbying'.... until that changes, it will be difficult to get behind the smokescreen thrown up with these key words or phrases - democracy and freedom, being the first 2 words that come to mind..

it appears the prediction he made has had some success in so far as one of the players he mentioned - Pita Limjaroenrat, as leader of the 'move forward' party, has done quite well in the elections..
