Announcement
At the moment I am conducting a research project into election charts. I have written a resumé of the project in this Quora reply:

https://qr.ae/pK8wRD

I have previously researched natal charts in the same way as with this collection of electional charts, but this is the first time I experience astrological influences this strong in a data collection.

Methods
  • Harmonics as described in John Addey's book "Harmonics in astrology".
  • Accepted methods for determining statistical significance like ChiSquare and the formula for determining statistical signficance in harmonics recommended by John Addey.
  • Swiss astrologer Heinrich Kündig's theory about cosmic starting times for a chart.
  • 4 circles: Zodiak circle, diurnal circle, aspect circle and planetary cycles. (The aspect circle and the planetary cycles both analyze planetary relations but in two different ways.)
Status
I am still expanding the research:
  • The number of harmonics (going from 18 harmonics to 36 harmonics)
  • The number of celestial bodies is growing as I am including more asteroids apart from the usual planets used in astrology
  • The number of charts in the collection slowly increases as time passes, thereby making the research results more numerous and more statistically significant.

Results
I am contionuously mapping down the harmonics, which come out as statistically significant, with their specifics:
  • Definition, like which circle and which planet(s) the harmonic is dealing with.
  • The harmonic number
  • The amplitude of the harmonic
  • The phase of the harmonic
Aspects are a different matter, but I still use the ideas about aspects described by John Addey, e.g. that aspects are acturally fractions of a 360 degree circle, and that their orbis should be in accordance with their associated harmonics.

Goal
The idea is to create a tool (like an app) for election charts with financial purposes. This app will have to be updated continuously as more knowledge is harvested over time.

Considerations
The greatest consideration is: How much do succesful election charts depend on the person's birth chart? Will my planned future app work only for me, or will it work for everybody? Or is the answer to this question to be found somewhere between these two poles?

Consequences
This research project into election charts will have consequences on many different areas:
  • Financial astrology
  • Election astrology
  • Demonstrably proving astrology to the world, including the scientific community
  • Justifying the use of specific astrological research methods like e.g. harmonics and Kündig's idea about cosmic starting times
  • Changing the philosophical understanding of what astrology is and how it can be made useful in day-to-day life.
I am deeply aware of the difference between scientists on the one hand and engineers or inventors on the other hand. Scientists are inclined to reject ideas, which are not in accordance with the current scientific paradigm. An engineer or inventor on the other hand will experiment with an idea, until it works - with no consideration for what other people think about it. Example: Nobody in the scientific world believed that it was possible to fly with an airplane, until it was proven by inventors.

Have you ever wondered, if there was an easy way to make money by using just a tiny bit of astrological knowledge? Here it is: Whenever you make an investment, trade stocks or gamble, then do so only when the Moon is aspecting Jupiter in a favorable way!

It's called election astrology, when you elect an astrologically auspicious moment for a specific action in order to ensure a favorable outcome. I analyzed 83 election charts for winning lottery tickets (in most cases small wins). I assigned 2 points to each of the 37 charts, which doubled the purchase amount or more, and I assigned 1 point to the rest. That's 120 points altogether. Then I counted the lunar aspects, and Jupiter came out as the winner with a score of 2600 percent points. Conjunctions +950%, Trines +800%, Sextiles +725% and Noviles +125%.

The orbis shall be 1 degree, not more. The closer, the better: 46% within 0-20', 37% within 20'-40' and 17% within 40'-60'. Applying is better than separating: 65% versus 35%.

The chances that these numbers are accidental are waaaay below 1:10,000. My ChiSquare calculator stops at 1:10,000. The conclusion is that this case represents solid evidence that astrology actually works! It's scientific proof, and anybody, who wishes to do so, can replicate the experiment - only it took me 9 years to collect the data. Because I didn't know from the beginning what worked and what didn't work.

Favorable lunar aspects with the Sun comes in as number 2 with 1350 percent points. And lunar aspects with dwarf planet Eris come in as number 3 with 1170 percent points - but the aspects are not the usual suspects. Instead of favorable aspects, it is squares and quintiles, which are statistically significant with Eris.

Many other astrological factors play a role in succesful election charts for financial purposes, but the favorable lunar aspect with Jupiter is the single most important factor of all.
