Horary: (Deadly) accident? 1 by Georgius Two persons were to visit and were 3 hours late. The trip should take only 1 1/2 hours, so I thought something bad had happened especially because they did not call by mobile and although I was not able to call them. One was an old friend of mine which I had not seen for years, the other an unknown person to me. Both came to see me as some kind of promoters in matters of art to look if an exhibition of my works is appropriate. So I did a horary. 29.9.2023, 11:49 UT 48n45, 15e16 (AC: 21°57' Sagittarius) Regiomontanus Lord of 11 is Mars in exile on the MC conjunct the South Node. Mars has a separating sextile from the peregrine Venus in Leo in the 8th house, which is L5 (art) and L10 (actions in public) which shows the reason of their visit. Mars is located in their 12th house of pain. Lord of their 8th house is Mercury which had no traditional aspect to their significator. No traditional aspect to my significator Jupiter So I wondered how to answer the question “Was there an accident? Are they well and alive?" On one hand the debility and the placement in the 12th house on the other the elevation and the aspect from the benefactor. Now I can tell the outcome but what tells the chart? Re: Horary: accident? 2 by Georgius Well, I want to add something what I didn’t mention yesterday because I hoped for quick uninfluenced comments. But now I think maybe I’m able to create more contribution with an interesting hint. If I suppose that Moon is my own co-significator, than the chart might tell that they will come in the end because the next traditional aspect of the moon is an opposition to Mars, the significator of both the visitors. (And maybe I will regret this visit according to John Frawley.) But if I follow the advice that in matters of (possible) death the derived and the radical 8th house have to be considered, Moon can be seen as significator of death (lord respectively lady of radical 8th). So, will the two persons meet me or their death? Quote Sun Oct 01, 2023 10:00 am
Re: Horary: (Deadly) accident? 3 by Ouranos Hello Georgius, I am not sure about the death of your friends. But Mars L11 in 12 and detriment, they are not landing where they are suppose to. Lost somewhere? Hospital? And conjunct SN, squaring Pluto, they have to let go of something which is beyond their control. Your ruler Jupiter R is not meeting Mars. And Jupiter R is also ruling the 3rd from the 11th - their trip to meet you. Your co-ruler Moon (ruled by Mars) will make an opposition to your friends. Your situation depends on their action. What I am unsure of is that you asked about 'What happened?' which relates to something in the past and the last aspect the Moon made was an opposition to the Sun in fall calling for a major adjustment in your hopes and wishes. Not looking up any further but I hope your friends had a favorable outcome. Best to you, Ouranos Blessings! Quote Sun Oct 01, 2023 2:42 pm

That is an important point! Thank you! I will tell about the outcome but want to wait a little hoping there will be some more comments. Quote Sun Oct 01, 2023 3:27 pm
Re: Horary: (Deadly) accident? 5 by Georgius The Sun is also co-ruler of the radical house of death. And indeed I met him at least in my thoughts briefly before I erected this horary. And I worried if I will be confronted with the dead of my visitors. Quote Sun Oct 01, 2023 3:53 pm
Re: Horary: (Deadly) accident? 6 by astroeve Hi there, The thing I find interesting is that the last aspect that mars (L11) received was a sextile from its dispositor Venus (L10), in the radical 8th which is the turned 10th - so maybe some work/business related delay, especially as the Moon next aspect will be an opposition to Mars on the MC. To me there is not a strong enough testimony to suggest anything deadly. I personally do not like turning the chart too much, but I could not help noticing that the turned 2nd (radical 12th) - signifying their car, is in the 6th from there (radical 5th)... is their car sick? Yes, there was no dead happening. After 4 hours they came and it was a very nice and productive visit. They just had lost their way and due to some confusion they could not call. Re: Horary: (Deadly) accident? 8 by Tanit3333 It makes sense that they were lost since they, as Mars, were not only in detriment but were peregrine. If I ask about someone who is late and I see they are peregrine, my first thought is that they might be lost and wandering around. I have two older sisters who are often late and get lost easily. I also have a cat who wanders off and I'm always more worried when she's peregrine. Then I know to more actively look for her. Usually she's in her own domicile and comes home on her own accord. Re: Horary: (Deadly) accident? 9 by Georgius Thank you, Tanit3333! Yes I noticed that the significator of my visitors is peregrin. I thought, maybe there was an accident (detriment and southern node), they were brought to hospital, are not quite here and do not know where they are (peregrin). The significator of death, radical L8, the Moon, is in applying aspect. (I do not consider Chiron.) Mars is separating from the MC (only 40') and therefore highlighted. Yes, there is a mixed mutual reception with Venus by face and term respectively and the same with Jupiter, but is this able to rescue Mars? So to me it looked much worse than it turned out. Obvious, astroeve is right, the testimonies were not strong enough to indicate a very bad outcome. Quote Wed Oct 11, 2023 2:38 pm
