Re: ROC/Tawain Presidential Election 2024 (Tropical) 25 by Wei The final candidate lineup has been determined. The outcome of this election is of great significance. In the 2015 Taipei Aries Ingress chart, Pluto conjuncts Midheaven; in the 2016 Taipei Aries Ingress chart, Pluto conjuncts Descendant. (Tsai Ing-wen was elected president in January 2016 and took office in May 2016.) In 2020, the great conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter were in Aquarius, conjuncting the Ascendant in Aquarius of the People's Republic of China, while opposing Mars and Pluto in the 7th house in Leo. In this year's (2023) Aries Ingress chart, Pluto in Capricorn conjuncts Uranus in Capricorn of the horoscope of Wuchang Uprising, indicating drastic changes. If the DPP candidate secures the presidency again (who hopes for Taiwan's independence) and Lai Ching-te continues Tsai Ing-wen's policies, the future relationship with the PRC may not be optimistic. In the Aries Ingress chart for Taipei in 2024, Saturn in Pisces is at Midheaven (encircling and restricting maritime areas and islands), while Mars in Aquarius in the 9th house forms precise aspects with the Ascendant and Descendant (indicating potential conflicts in technology, airspace, involving drones, hackers, and threats). Re: ROC/Tawain Presidential Election 2024 (Tropical) 26 by Wei Taiwan's voting system is structured as follows: (The Central Election Commission decided on April 19, 2011, to merge the presidential election and the Legislative Yuan election of the Republic of China, which took place in 2012.) President and Vice President: - Voters directly cast their ballots for candidates. Legislative Represntatives: 1. **Regional Legislative Representatives:** 73 seats - Voters directly cast their ballots for candidates. 2. ** Indigenous Legislative Representatives:** 6 seats - Voters directly cast their ballots for candidates. 3. **Non-regional Legislative Representatives:** 34 seats - Voters directly cast their ballots for political parties (not individual candidates). Each party pre-determines a list of candidates, and seats are allocated proportionally based on the votes received by each party. The order of nomination for each party's candidates is followed in the allocation process. Re: ROC/Tawain Presidential Election 2024 (Tropical) 27 by Wei The election process has become increasingly interesting, with the influence of Neptune making it as exciting as a TV drama. After the failure of cooperation with the Kuomintang (KMT), Taiwan People's Party(TPP) was marginalized by traditional media and unable to purchase advertisements. As a response, they established their own TV channel (YouTube channel - KPTV), broadcasting live for 8 hours every day. KPTV officially started broadcasting on December 7, 2023, at 2:00 PM in Taipei City. The TPP founded on August 6, 2019, is a fledgling political party facing challenges in funding and local organizational strength. The astrological chart indicates a lack of strength in the party, with Mars in its synodic cycle's early stages, symbolizing a period of new beginnings. Venus, ruling the second house, is in the seventh house in opposition to Jupiter, and the Moon is translating light from Mercury to Mars in the 8th by sextile indicating the desire to raise funds by broadcasting the channel. Venus is in detriment in Scorpio, suggesting financial challenges for the TPP. Venus is separating trine from the 11 house ruler Saturn in Pisces where Venus is exalted. The collaboration with the KMT is driven by the TPP need for the KMT's funds and resources.(14 days ago, on November 23rd, the political party cooperation negotiation between the KMT and the TPP definitively failed.) AS/AS (23ARI15) = Node/Ascendant (22ARI44) = Sun/Saturn (23CAP08) - Allyship, blocking, obstruction. Exploring TransNeptunians may reveal additional intriguing insights. Re: ROC/Tawain Presidential Election 2024 (Tropical) 29 by Wei Hi Ouranos, Thank you! Birthdates from Wikipedia: Lai Ching-te: October 6, 1959, Natal: SU/KR(6Leo18). Solar arc: N.SU/KR=VE=MO=JU=ZE=KR. Election day: N.SU/KR=MO=JU. - Luck, ecstasy of joy, and victories associated with women. (Vice Presidential candidate of Lai Ching-te is a woman, and Lai Ching-te's feminine image is very positive, with his behavior being gentle and approachable.) The moon is a voter and a common citizen. Hou You-yi: June 7, 1957, Natal: SU/KR(7Gem16). Solar arc: N.SU/KR=CU. Election day: N.SU/KR=SA. - Desire for unity, collaboration, obstacles. Ko Wen-je: August 6, 1959, Natal: SU/KR(6Can45)=CU/N.N (North Node). Solar arc: N.SU/KR=NE. Election day: N.SU/KR=MA/CU. - Unity, cooperation, deception, disappointment, confidential negotiations, independence (SU/KR=MA). Terry Gou: October 18, 1950, Natal: SU/KR(9Leo04). Solar arc: N.SU/KR=JU=ZE=KR. - A substantial amount of money (JU=ZE) (He is a wealthy individual, spending (Zeus:Fire) a considerable sum on campaign advertisements and using money for joint endorsements to run for the presidency). Election day: Transit North Node conjunction Natal Admetos (limited)/Sun/Zeus. - A grand farewell. (He received the presidential candidate nomination but eventually withdrew from the campaign.) Re: ROC/Tawain Presidential Election 2024 (Tropical) 32 by Wei Hi Ouranos Thank you. Even before looking at the astrological charts, I had a precognition that Lai Ching-te would become the president, and the results of the legislative elections indicated that no party could secure a majority in the parliament. However, I am unsure if this is my intuition or my preference. Therefore, I want to find evidence in the astrological charts. Honestly, I haven't found very conclusive evidence that makes me feel certain. Let's wait and see the results together. Quote Sat Dec 16, 2023 8:42 am
Re: ROC/Tawain Presidential Election 2024 (Tropical) 33 by Wei In the past few days, I heard in the news that Ko Wen-je hopes the TTP party can be like a religious group. Surprising? Not at all. In the astrological chart of the TTP's establishment, Poseidon (spiritual belief/mental manipulation) is rising, and the Sun in Leo is at midheaven. Neptune (fantasy/deception) is in the 5th house (youth) (most supporters of the TTP party are young people), and the 5th ruler Jupiter is in trine with the Sun in the 2nd house. The financial resources of the TTP party primarily come from small-scale political donations online as well as the statutory subsidies for political parties from the government (Jupiter is also the ruler of the 2nd house). Re: ROC/Tawain Presidential Election 2024 (Tropical) 34 by Wei The largest opposition party (Kuomintang) has stated that if they win this time, they plan to promote a Parliamentary system in the future. This aligns well with the astrological analysis, as indicated by the Mars opposition between the 4th house and the 10th house (presidential system) in the 2023 Aries ingress chart. Re: ROC/Tawain Presidential Election 2024 (Tropical) 35 by Wei I just finished watching the live broadcast of the first presidential candidate policy debate. (I wanted to experience that sense of being present.) I suddenly understand what the conjunction of the moon and Neptune in the 2023 Spring Equinox (Aries Ingress) chart signifies. Silent Majority https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silent_majority The opposition party aims to incite dissatisfaction among the public (symbolized by the moon) towards the current government using Mars (symbolizing hatred, opposition, and war). Let's see if the opposition party's strategy can be successful. Quote Wed Dec 20, 2023 1:09 pm

I know nothing about the candidates, maybe you have your own take on the election. Your observations seem accurate. I have personally encountered both Hou Youyi and Lai Ching-te. These encounters were coincidental, and I did not specifically check their schedules. 1. On November 5, 2023, around 6:00 PM in Huwei Township, Yunlin County (I did not record the time at the moment but found it online later). My husband and I were riding our scooter home and noticed a significant police presence near our house. We speculated that an important political figure might be arriving. Later, Hou Youyi got off his vehicle right in front of me (less than 3 meters away). He gave me a wave and proceeded towards the stage. I followed behind Hou Youyi until we reached the central stage. The atmosphere was lively, similar to a concert, with dazzling lights. We left the venue before waiting for Hou Youyi's speech because it felt too noisy. This is the news report of the day, and it includes on-site photographs https://news.ltn.com.tw/news/politics/b ... ws/4480774 2. Just now, I suddenly felt a bit down and asked my husband to take me for a walk. As soon as we stepped out, we saw many police officers again, leading us to believe that another important political figure was arriving. It turned out to be Lai Ching-te. Lai Ching-te was very friendly, and he even gave me, and others, a high-five. Haha. The high-five with Lai Ching-te occurred at 4:24 PM on December 22, 2023, in Huwei Township, Yunlin County (time recorded with a margin of error within 4 minutes). I listened to his entire speech (around 4:55 PM) before leaving the venue. The atmosphere at the venue was not as lively, but I felt it was genuine and warm, even though today is the coldest day so far, at around 13 degrees Celsius.
