Yesterday, on the morning of December 15, 2023, at 9:00 AM, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China officially announced the results of the investigation into trade barriers in the Taiwan region, confirming the existence of trade barriers.

Just documenting for now; I'll write the astrological analysis later. (It seems like I have a lot of assignments to catch up on...)

On September 28, 1986, the "1986 Non-Partisan Elections National Supporters' Meeting for Candidate Recommendations," attended by 132 individuals, took place in the Dun Mu Hall on the 2nd floor of the Grand Hotel in Taipei. The meeting discussed campaign strategies for the upcoming National Assembly and Legislative Yuan elections. During the discussion, Zhu Gaozheng proposed the immediate formation of a political party, stating, "I firmly oppose that, at this stage of the democratic movement, we are still sitting here discussing the 'preparatory committee for party formation.' I formally propose: today, right now, announce the formation of the party." This proposal received enthusiastic support from the entire assembly, initiating discussions on party formation.

Yeu Ching and Hsieh Chang-ting presented a motion to temporarily change the agenda to discuss party formation, and 132 participants from the non-partisan election supporters' group signed a petition to form a party. The proposal to name the party "Democratic Progressive Party," suggested by Hsieh Chang-ting and Yeu Ching, was approved. At 6:06 PM, party founder Fei Xi-ping announced, "The Democratic Progressive Party is officially established."
