I want to put in an application for an apartment, and would like to elect a time to make first contact with the rental agency that is taking applications for the property. I think I am confusing myself with too much information, so I hope someone can assist.

Since the Real Estate agency is acting as representative of the property owner, and rental payments would go through them if I got the apartment, would they be considered as "the landlord" for election charts?
If so, is the landlord the 7th house (as contacting for a possible contractual agreement) or the 10th house?
Would my focus be on having a good aspect between the first and the seventh, or between first and the tenth? Or should I be looking at the third house as the house of communication?

I am fine with natal charts, but I seem to have a bit of difficult grasping the 'derived houses' to hone in on the specific houses for an election or horary.

And a follow up, after I make the initial contact, would I use the same houses to elect the time to contact them to check on the status of a rental application if I submit one?

7th House - the person you trade with, location where you want to move
10th House - the landlord
