By making a prediction, we can strive to avoid the prediction coming true.) This made me reread Bernadette Brady’s “Astrology a Place in Chaos” from 2006. In spite of not sharing some of her important asumptions (like free will or the importance of transits in general) I find this book an interesting contribution to the discussion of how fate and astrology might work. She compares chaos theory and astrology, defends non linear thinking and explains how rituals can be seen as helping to perpetuate a desired pattern or establish a wanted new one in life.
