Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 13 by Georgius In the 2nd chart Jupiter is lord of the 10th, the intervention. Jupiter is peregrin. That could mean the surgery is not good, not bad, maybe somewhat needless. Mars, coruler of the 10th and ruler of the 6th is exalted: The surgery has good quality but is somehow overestimated. And Mars is in the 6th house of trouble. But sure enough surgery means some trouble anyway. Moon, co-lady of the 12th, opposes Jupiter in separation: Limitation blocked the treatment, which perhaps I can take as validation of the second chart. Next aspect of Moon is the sextile to Venus, the little benefactress. Sounds good. Venus has triplicity dignities after all. Mercury is the only (traditional) angular planet. Again: Maybe this shows some limitations. Summa summarum: No big deal. If you want to have it done, let it be done. Hope that unburdened you a little bit. Quote Mon Jan 29, 2024 3:30 pm
Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 14 by Veronika Thanks Georgius, that does help. Have planned it for months/ years and do not want to miss the chance this week, because putting it off is even more effort. As long as it's safe -- the "neither good nor bad" is in fact reassuring, it at least alerts me that there will be no mess involved. They are offering me a Thurs night option as well, but Moon in Libra AND 6:30pm. I asked them "won't the surgeon be tired?" They said no, but I would be, in his shoes! So i think earlier in the afternoon Friday is better, although my at home "care team" leaves Sunday so earlier (ie Thurs) is better in that regard but either way has drawbacks. One site says "Moon in Libra means symmetrical facial surgery" but all other sites say never do surgery on face/skin with moon in libra. So I guess I go with the majority voice here. IF i have a negative Covid test I will likely go with the Friday date. My last concern is my health post-anesthesia as I have read it lowers immunity for months (after any operation/surgery) and i'm not the most immune pickle in the jar. But if i'm going to do it, then that's part and parcel. I want to for many reasons. I have maybe 2 days left to decide. Quote Mon Jan 29, 2024 5:50 pm
Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 15 by Ouranos Hmm no i had not looked at my natal, and am not sure what to look for. Do I look for transits on a certain date? What would indicate that surgery occurs? Yes look for transits. Face: Sun and Mars - Check the midpoint Mars/Uranus for surgery. And more than the Moon by sign, check the next aspect the Moon does by the time you have your appointment. Body Parts.png Viewed 2665 times 69.18 KiB Kira Sutherland And what is diurnal? From what I read it just means if Sun is above or below horizon, mine is above, and so a Day chart.... Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 16 by Veronika Long story short: no operation Friday or this month or next. This has been a huge scheduling disaster on three fronts, I will leave that out of the post for now. We are considering an April 15th reschedule date. Quote Tue Jan 30, 2024 3:09 pm
Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 17 by Georgius So my interpretation of your first chart was correct. Thank you for reporting! Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 18 by Veronika Georgius, yes, I meant to say you called it, you were correct with the Void of Course moon. Thanks again for your input on the chart(s). My question is: If I run a chart for April 15th , an "event chart" with the supposed time of surgery, and my significators (Asc ruler) is not aspecting House 10 ruler (treatment) would I take that to meant that the April 15th date will ALSO be cancelled/not happen? Would I want to ask a horary or run an actual date/time chart for such a question? (Or synastry with an Apr 15 event chart against my natal?) Quote Thu Feb 01, 2024 1:37 pm
Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 19 by Georgius I think, for precise questions a horary is appropriate. For more common analysis use the event chart. Can you post the event chart for April 15th? Quote Fri Feb 02, 2024 6:47 pm
Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 20 by Veronika Sure, here is the event chart. The office gave me a 6pm start time but said it could move earlier as the prior patient is in question, so if she cancels, i can go earlier at say 3:45pm. I chose whole signs for simplicity but a quick look and Regio gives me the same main result -- namely Venus (my coruler) aspects (by conjunction) Mercury in the 7th house of surgeon. But everyone else isn't connecting... And shoot. Why are they connecting, because Mercury is Rx. Shoot I did not even see that until now. I did look at all Moon signs before saying April 15 was OK but I forgot to check Mercury.... is this a reason to NOT go forward on this day? Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 21 by Georgius Sorry, I'm somewhat limited if I cannot see the intermediate house cusps, no ruler of the hour, but overloaded with transsaturnians, asteroids and aspect lines… You are Venus in detriment, peregrin, angular in the 7th house, in conjunction with the Nord Node. Mabe this shows your uncertainty and forsakenness. Your cosignificator Moon is in her domicile and her face, presumably in the 10th, sextile with Jupiter, trine to Saturn and Mars, square to Mercury (all separating) and in an applying square to Sun. There is a very good and strong side of you too. Sun, Mercury and Venus are determined by Mars, which is in bad condition and weak. (See below.) Moon signifies also the treatment: very good and strong. But the trines to Saturn and Mars (both peregrin in the falling 6th) might foretell pain and disease. I don't know what Mercury shows because I do not know what houses he rules. His natural signification is communication, trade, thieves and brothers among others. He is leaving combustion for now. Maybe he and his meaning will be seen then. Maybe you will get some clarety in the nearer future. There are too many imponderables for me (time of surgery, no intermediate house cusps) to dare to say something definite about it. Maybe someone else can help. Also I do not know how to interpret the indicators I imagine to see for a good treatment and a not so good (peregrin) doctor. But anyway that is invalid if the time is uncertain. I think, better you make up your mind and ask the very question that is on your mind (and not that imprecisely as "Will it be ok?") and set up a horary. What are you fearing? What matters most? What is the desired result? I understand that you are trying to protect your privacy but unfortunately wishy-washy informations lead to wishy-washy answers. Quote Sat Feb 03, 2024 7:35 pm
Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 22 by Veronika hi Georgius, I apologize for the confusion with the chart,, I should have just posted the normal Regiomantus and been done with it. I am attaching that now, so you can see house cusps. My main concern -- and I didnt even notice this until running this chart -- is Mercury Rx. When scheduling surgery, everywhere I read that is the biggest No-No aside from doing it on a Full moon. That there can be mistakes in understanding or just plain errors by the surgeon, and to only do it when Merc is direct. I spent literally days choosing the first surgery date only to be lambasted by Covid. WIth this date, the office manager just offered it and I said yes but I did not take the time (beyond checking the Moon sign) to confirm retrogrades. I may be able to call the office and still change the date, I would have to ask for a date in October or even next January -- a full year after this planned surgery -- as those are the only other options for me. But safety is my top priority. So to answer your question, I'm worried that the Merc Rx in this 7th house in this chart is a bad omen. Yes I'd like to get this done sooner rather than later but not at the expense of anything. What I want to know is that surgery (on the given date, whenever it may be) will be successful without mistakes/errors and without significant side effects (beyond what is expected naturally). That is what I'm looking for in the chart, and ideally some good reception from the surgeon/treatment lords. P.s shouldn't the moon be applying in an event chart to the surgeon and/or treatment? it isn't doing either here. Maybe that's a sign I'm going to change the date, who knows, but isn't that something one would look for in a "good" event chart? Here the ONLY aspect my ruler Venus makes is to Mercury Rx in 7H which I take as a co ruler (Merc) for the surgeon (7H co-inhabitor). Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 23 by Georgius Thank you for the chart. In my mind Mercury is not a natural significator of surgeons. I take Mars for that. Now I can see that Mercury is co-significator of the 9th house of higher knowledge. But phycians are 7th William Lilly writes. So I leave Mercury behind. Mars is located in the 6th, the house of illness. (I don't know if your surgery is because of an illness.) He is conjunct Saturn, natural significator of limitations and decrease. (You might know if this is a good or bad sign concerning your case.) Saturn is without dignities, peregrine, Mars has nightly triplicity according to Dorotheus (but this is a diurnal chart). So this as an addendum to my last posting. Your investigation is drifting towards electional astrology. I do not want to give a definite judgement having so few context. An astrology forum is not the right place for this particular matter I think. I recommend to consult an astrologer doing horary and electional astrology. Quote Mon Feb 05, 2024 10:46 am
Re: Will Cosmetic Surgery Occur Before Friday? 24 by Veronika Thanks Georgius. This is not looking good for April. My surgery isn't related to an illness per se although i do have heavy ptosis on my right eye. I am taking the Saturn conjunction as meaning the surgeon may get sick? or be limited? I dont know what to make of it but doesn't sound like the setup one wants going into surgery. Since I do have a choice of dates and can wait, I would rather get this right the first (and only) time... I will see if I can find a reliable astrologer online or help with this somewhere. I appreciate your input, thanks so much. Quote Wed Feb 07, 2024 9:37 am
