I happened to look at the chart while waiting for a burger in a local fast food restaurant.
What struck me first about the chart was the intensity of the Mars Pluto conjunction squaring the Ascendant from
the 'Nadir point' ( Not IC) in the whole sign 4th/5th.
This seemed to relate to some odd things in childhood and family matters with pluto mars flavour.

I googled him when I later at night arrived home and found this:
"His parents, according to Milei in 2018, beat and verbally abused him,[8] causing him to not speak to them for a decade;[4] he regarded them as dead."


I assume that this early trauma in his family pattern set up challenges for relationships in general in adult life. He is unmarried having no info about long lasting relationships in the wikipedia.
A fallen venus in scorpio opposite Saturn is not easy in that regard either.

as i understand it, giving away your sovereignty by wanting to go from the argentina peso to the us$ is not a great idea.. the reason argentina is where it is, is largely thanks fiscal irresponsibility, reliance on imf and following imf dictates which have brought it to this dismal place... resolving a financial crisis by giving up your sovereignty looks shaky to me.. it begs the bigger question going on in the world today regarding world finance, with argentina being probably the worse case example of a crisis that seems manufactured to benefit the few and deprive the many..

your comments on his personality and past while tying it up astrologically are interesting.. i don't know that we will know, but i suspect argentina is in for hard times and like trump, milei is going to appear less like a savoir to the people of argentina and more like a robber over the next few years.. we'll see..

there was an article in the uk paper - guardian - that draws attention to the importance of javier mileis sister... perhaps some enterprising astrologer could explore her birthdate - march 28th, 1972 - buenos aries - to work at a more likely chart for javier - 2am or 1159pm... here is the article and link to the wikipedia page on her... i did a bit of work on this earlier today, but don't have anything solid to share in terms of leaning more strongly to one or the other chart..

i thought some here would enjoy an exchange that i had with aj on the topic of the best chart for javier milei... so here it is.. this was based in part on the article i shared previously and what appears to be the central role javiers sister plays in his coming to the leadership of argentina.. essentially we are trying to find the best time for javier based off the noon chart we have for his sister...

There is a lack of event data for him on ADB and the Wiki page on him sucks a bit too.
On ADB they have refined the time/source notes for him and mention that an Argentine astrologer uses the time of 23:50.
For now, I think I will use that time.
It's hard to peg this chart as no real dates are given beyond his recent election, but he has a BA in economics and 2 masters degrees. These must have been completed if he didn't take a break in the mid-90s. This would have been during the Venus main period that started in 1994, or maybe even the previous Ketu main period. Either way, his tweenhood through early manhood should have been good for schooling accomplishments and should show up in his chart during those periods.
After that, his career was pretty exceptional, and he published a lot etc.
So his Venus (start 1994) and Sun (start 2014) main periods were very positive.
Currently he is in the main period of the Moon from 2020. Ju bhukti, so the rise to president is there.

The Venus in the 6th I'm not so sure about; it's not that bad of a placement for Venus; but he has no children, well, excepting his dogs; so maybe it fits. The neecha Sun and Me in the 5th, and yeah, Rahu in the 9th this could account for no kiddos. He does seem kinda angry most of the time. With neecha Sun-Me and Ju in the 5th he is a bit of a rake by all accounts.

He's a pretty quirky dude. Gemini rising fits with the Rahu influence on Sun-Me and on his ascendant.

Mars in the 4th fits with his story that he was abused as a child, especially by his father. The neecha Saturn fits with this too. It didn't say in his bio if his parents were still alive, but Mars in the 4th is often associated with an early death of the father. Main period of 4L Me was in force until age 16.

Rahu is in the 9H but disposited by neecha Saturn in the 11H. Saturn here has no real redeeming aspects except for an out-of-sign opposition to Venus that is in the 6H and the dudes dresses pretty crappy and the wild hair and promotes free love. Saturn, as a malefic does well in the 11th and Venus' aspect does give it a boost in addition to the Sun to the EBM.
Rahu aspects the Sun-Me in the 5th from the 9th, which would put him in good academic positions. Ju 10L in the 5th too.

His sisters Mars-Satrun is right in the elbow of his Nodal axis and her Su-Me is in his 10H close enough to the MC.
His Ketu in the 3H would suggest an unusual relationship with younger sibling.
Their Mars' are trine to each other. Her Saturn to his Mars.
I wish we had a birth time for her. Their relationship is, well, interesting...

Sorry for the stream of consciousness, but this chart fits much better than the 2 a.m. one. Initially, I may have leaned towards the 2 a.m. chart; I can't remember now. Not that it matters now.

i like and understand all you've said here... perhaps what i most agree with is the idea of mars in the 4th also squaring the ascendant.. his home life seems reflected in all of this, from all we have been told about him.. when i think of it more, he is not popular because of moon on the ascendant, but because of this martial attitude he exibits.. he's going to cut this and that - a martial type of action.... including both pluto and uranus in the 4th house adds to this instability in the early home life... i am looking for connections to the angles and based on it all, yes - 1159pm time might work better here as we come to know him better...

what do you think explains the heavy reliance on his sister astrologically? yes - her sun up in his 10th house area can account for some of it, but what else? does ketu in leo in the 3rd account for some of this too? his relationship with his dad seems to have been very bad - saturn in aries in the 11th, ruling the 9th and mars makes the 8th aspect to his saturn too, so that all fits.. his speech is certainly flamboyant.. is that mercury in the 5th ruling the ascendant in the trine to rahu in the 9th?

In Milei's chart, the 3H represents younger siblings. Ketu in the 3H fits as usually indicates the next-born sibling is really odd, spiritual, or metaphysical. In Karina's bio, it is noted that she is into esotericism and reads tarot.
Ketu is disposed by neecha Sun, which looks for some form of dependency and lacks direction. This he has found in his sister. The Sun is also conjunct with the severely combust Mercury, which is also a significator for siblings. Weak and combust Me can lead to being a poor communicator and having low self-esteem. This would also attach him to his sister as an advisor. This is all magnified due to Rahu's very strong influence from the 9th house of mentors and teachers. The 5th house is also 3rd from the 3rd.
In D3, the chart changes little, but Ju moves to the D3 9th house with Rahu. which then aspects Ketu (D3 3rd) and the Sun-Me in the D3 5th. This gives the role of a sibling as a guide much more power.

Yes ,KN Rao who is one of the most respected modern Jyotish astrologers typically use about half of his consultations rectifying the chart of
his clients, in order to get the divisional charts correct ( very time sensitive these charts), in order to being able to make correct future predictions.

So this is Javier Milei's Tropical chart with secondary progressions on the outside.

Note that this year is a 6th house Profected year for Milei.
So this activates the two benefics Venus and Jupiter in scorpio in the 6th house.
Jupiter is the 10th house ruler (while Mars is the MC ruler) so Jupiter is activated this year
as is Mars as 'Lord of the year'.

Secondary progression

A double Whammy occurs with the secondary progressed Venus and Jupiter in the 6th house:

Mars (2nd L) is culminating on the Midheaven, and squaring the Ascendantwhich gives this Milei administration a reputation of being assertive and direct in it's
radical approach to do drastic reforms in the country. And which could indicate arguments and conflicts on the way.

Moon in Taurus applying to oppose Uranus in scorpio is further symbolism of the administrations upcoming economic reforms.
