Announced as Mercury conjuncts Pluto

What information is the King hiding from us? Should everything Royal be wrapped in secrecy and mystery? Has the King revealed too much? All very indicative of mercury-pluto questions.

Pluto is there at every step of the timeline of the King's illness. when the arrival of Pluto in AQ to conjunct the Sun (King/leader) to coincide with the Kings announcement of a 'health problem' then that should be enough to set alarm bells ringing, in my mind anyway.

Pluto square Moon currently perfecting in the King's natal.

Sun conjunct Pluto on his initial announcement to the nation of an everyday examination.

Mercury Pluto on the sad, indeed quite tragic, announcement of a diagnosis of Cancer, mercifully found early. What a start to his reign?..so should we start with his Coronation astrology? Or in this case, his natal Composite chart to the Coronation which once again features prominently - our demonic friend, Pluto! (square Chiron in 6th of health and illness). We will have to check the transits closely to the t-square.

And then Mars conj Pluto on 13/14 Feb? I'd be surprised if the story doesn't move on this day also.

Saddly this and the next couple of eclipses are going to set off Charles, William, Harry and Camilla. Looking forward, things dont look good. This doesnt look like settling. There is far too much activity.

i wonder if its a digestive problem given pluto sq moon? as in stomach cancer.

I was thinking more Bowel Cancer not for any clear astrological reasons but rather that it was more fitting for Pluto being a rather taboo area although maybe not as much as it used to be. We're getting over our queasiness it seems - I think I prefer to uphold the mystique myself.

SR SUN trine JUPITER - I take that as being indicative of a large amount of talking/thinking (trine) about William becoming King but not as yet anything of actual substance (square). Jupiter semi-squares the Sun in mid-March so maybe it will make his position clearer. With Neptune square natal Asc confusion reigns until Summer so no drastic changes quite yet. Everything is up in the air but the image strived for is to show a smooth running operation (ruler 10th Scorpio). Jupiters conjunct to Uranus is the crunch time. That is mid-April, 2024.

Not even sure William would want the job particularly and certainly not at this precise time.

VERDICT - Despite the Nodes hovering around Wills Regal JUP-MC there doesn't seem enough to suggest the promotion to King and South Node is the wrong end of the axis to make the Crown any closer than it is already.

Some interesting things about Charles chart:

In october his primary directed ascendant entered in the distibution the bound of Saturn ( 6L)

In transit saturn is opposing natal Saturn ( 6L)


Another biggie in the secondary progressions and solar arc, is the progressed MC on Uranus opposing Jupiter.
Sudden events involving his social standing - a break - possible things for the children too ( jupiter in 5th house)

Of more importance now is that in this month he have progressed New Moon indicating a whole new period in it's infancy.
Something new is about to enter his life, a seed is sown.

But what striked me when I first looked at his chart is the now in process Solar Arc saturn (6L) on his sun perfecting later on in the year.
This one is a bit scary when taking his current condition under consideration.
This will be triggered by transiting Uranus in opposition to this arced Sun in the summer.

Also Solar arc Pluto is right on his natal South node in the 4th house which may indicate several things....
A deep dive into oneself, both south node and pluto are introverted and things about his private life is under scrutiny.
Also the lineage itself maybe ( 4th) ancestry.

This tells me that the natal square from pluto in the first to his 4th house sun is much activated now in the solar arc's.
Where his physical vitality (sun 1st lord) is challenged.

More can be said about it....
But one can say that King Charles chart is filled with astrological biggies all over the place indicating a shift of some kind.
Others have mentioned the big transit from Pluto to his 10th house Moon as well, so no need to enter that here....

Forgot to mentioning that he is in a 4th house profected year so the sun
and south node which is arced by saturn and pluto is more important.
And the transit from Uranus opposing his natal sun will be more changeful and
impacting him in sudden ways later on in 2024....
The continued Profected Asc in his 4th house/Scorpio will reach his sun in the summer too, which probably will add to the mix)

All the charts I've seen are pretty dire and there are a lot of them as you'll all find out I suspect.

King Charles looks as if he's on a downhill spiral and he - as a stubborn Scorpio - is sticking it out for as long as possible. Well that's my take so far.

In Stefan's Solar Arc chart Saturn rules 7th so perhaps Camilla is a realist and wanting him to quit for his own good. I wouldn't be surprised if Kate does the same with William. Again I suspect not quite yet so we are really looking at the Eclipses in Spring 2024 to concentrate the mind so to speak. There will be a dark clouds hanging over England by the latter part of 2024.


BTW. Just noticed something else about Pr.Williams SR chart in that Pluto makes the
'yod' - Uranus sxt Pluto qx Wills Sun at 0 Cancer. That is the first sign of him being thrust into the limelight.

Jupiter (Royalty) is setting in the East...the last time I saw that exact on the cusp was when Queen Elizabeth died. Not exactly a good omen..lets hope he proves me wrong.

The symbol of the people, the Moon (+Lilith) opp Saturn on AS-DC axis.

T-Square Moon-Venus-Saturn = sadness; melancholy. The only possible positive spin is to view it as traits of stoicism, calmness under pressure, stiff upper lip etc etc...it looks as if these may well be needed.

KEEP CALM & CARRY ON...as they say. He of all people must be experienced in that respect.


1066 SR CHART

I feel strangely uncomfortable with thread speculating on what Charles's cancer is. On the one hand, his chart is in the public domain for astrologers to 'test' themselves against; on the other, surely even royals and living celebrities deserve the empathetic consideration we would give to a living person facing the tragedy of a life-threatening illness.? Maybe it is just a question of how the discussion is framed - 'Royal Gossip' seems heartless to the fact that a real-life person is undergoing a life-or-death situation. In the last year or so of the queen's life, I was astrologically convinced that she was suffering from bone cancer. That was never confirmed but I still believe that was the case. But it wasn't something I put 'out there' to speculate on because that didn't seem morally right.
Anyway, I have wondered whether to comment for a while, and my hesitancy has been because I am not sure. As I said, I see both sides, yet I don't feel completely at ease with the forum being used to glibly speculate on something that is potentially tragic, as if living people don't matter and astrology is little more than a parlour game. - sorry, I know this is likely to come across more harshly than I want it to, but perhaps there is an interesting discussion to be had on that point alone?

Royal Gossip was similar to the title I used on Astro.com and thought it might be noticed by fans of the thread who wanted it to continue so might recognise it here but the initial posting was overtaken by the subsequent charts which were/are much more serious so I would be happy for a change of title and general demeanour of posting from now on. Yes I was feeling uncomfortable myself tbh.

I think it would have been best to generalise the thread title, given it now strongly indicates a chain of past, current and forthcoming events for the entire family. The King is our head of government and a very public figure. We are deeply attached to care and be concerned for his wellbeing and the well being and presence of his next in line and all his family. It just is the way of UK for centuries. UK is I feel still very much attached to the Merlin chart and is still a very capricornian country.

Given health experts have warned us 50% and probably far higher, will suffer some form of cancer, this needs to be accepted as a long term threat to all of us. Plastic particles are now part of our internal organs and we cannot get rid of them. We ingest. We breath in fibres. Its normal for the body to begin encasing them with organic cells since it lacks ability to process them. This I suspect will lead to problems down the line for majority. It helps us to see it normalised and guides us to learning better coping techniques that will tend to be aired, given the care and concern for the King, rather than encouraging secrecy.

William particularly with his cancer sun pluto square mars saturn, and even in the very odd occasion a neptune involvement from a wider strong eclipse….. seems to be personally strongly affected by the current and next few years eclipses. I haven't looked further to his family or circle as that I feel this then becomes bordering stalking. But Williams striking chart has always symbolised for me a very bold signature for family shakeup and redirection. Recent events have indicated a more direct political involvement also that will leave him open to strong reaction that he will need to absorb. It might be that given the lacklustre PM incumbent’s influence, who is an excellent administrator but weak on all other areas, the involvement of a figure higher up to lead UK needed to be found to represent the UK on foreign policy. to be seen….

William is currently going through the last of a saturn square mercury transit and we all know that stands for bad news. I am sure the recent early death of his godfather hit him very hard. I know how whiplash ptsd feels when something like this happens to others and sets off an instant replay of feelings from our history databank.
