While the U.S. presidential election allows all citizens to vote for their preferred candidate, it differs from Taiwan's system, where the candidate with the majority of popular votes wins. In the U.S., the president is determined by who can secure a majority of the Electoral College votes.

Conditions for Presidential Election

In 2024, there are a total of 538 Electoral College representatives in the United States, and a candidate must obtain at least 270 votes, which is a majority, to qualify for winning election.

Handling the Situation when No One Gets a Majority

If no candidate reaches a majority, the presidential candidate is decided by the next session of the House of Representatives. However, it's not a simple one-person-one-vote process; each of the 50 states has only one vote (excluding the District of Columbia). The state's representatives decide the allocation of their vote. If a state fails to decide, it is considered an abstention and doesn't count. The candidate still needs to secure at least 26 votes to qualify for election.

If the House of Representatives Can't Decide

If neither Biden nor Trump can obtain at least 26 votes in the House of Representatives, and there is a presidential vacancy, the Vice President, according to the U.S. Constitution, assumes the role of the President. The Vice President is chosen by a simple majority vote in the newly elected Senate, which has 100 seats.

It's worth noting that the House and Senate vote separately for the President and Vice President, potentially resulting in the President and Vice President belonging to different parties in such a scenario.

If the Senate Can't Decide on the Vice President

Simply put, if both the President and Vice President are vacant, the Speaker of the House becomes the acting President according to the U.S. Constitution.

If this scenario unfolds as expected, I believe Biden might have a slightly better chance, as the Sun (representing authority) aligns with his SU/KR.

In a direct popular vote system, Trump would have a bit of an edge, as the Moon squares his SU/KR.

The result of the presidential election is not determined solely by a single horoscope; it is the cumulative outcome of various factors. This is the case with any prediction, particularly with significant and complex events—it's not simply a matter of one horoscope/chart dictating the result.

My approach is quite simple: MC represents the ruling party or government, while IC symbolizes the opposition or challenger. Additionally, the 11th house signifies the parliament. (I haven't yet figured out how to distinguish between the Senate and the House of Representatives.)

To predict the outcome of the presidential election, one needs to examine the positions of MC and IC during the Aries Ingress, Cancer Ingress, Libra Ingress, and eclipses.
